I was stumped when Albert and Bernard had to figure out Cheryl’s birthday. Then again, I was even more dumbfounded when I realised that question were meant for children. Sure, the question was meant for the Maths Olympiad but the fact that children more than half my age could answer it, made me think about the pressure students must be facing in school.
The Singapore education system is tough and so we decided to dedicate our latest parody to all the students out there who have to face the stresses of exams!
Set to the tune of “Story Of My Life” by now, four-piece band, One Direction (we miss you Zayn!), “My PSLE Life” tackles all the struggles Primary 6 students have when facing the PSLE.
Fine… Not all of us are still taking the PSLE but with lyrics like “I am desperate, praying, someone please tolong,” this parody will still appeal to those with exams coming up and to those who want to reminisce about their school life, no matter how long ago it was. Now, no excuses – watch the video below!
