If you grew up in the 90s to the early 2000s, you’ve probably spent countless hours watching Mr. Bean’s chaotic antics on TV. To celebrate the 35th anniversary of the first live-action episode, Acolab – a popular anime cafe – has launched the Mr Bean Experience in KL, Malaysia, from now till 1st February 2026.
With a pop-up cafe, photo zones, a merchandise store, and an activity card game, you’ll have a blast reliving iconic moments from both the Mr. Bean live-action and animated series.

The Mr Bean Experience is happening at Acolab in Pavilion Bukit Jalil shopping mall – not to be confused with Pavilion Kuala Lumpur.
After getting from SG to KL, book an e-hailing ride such as Grab or Maxim to Pavilion Bukit Jalil. If you’re coming from KL International Airport, the ride will take around 45 minutes. After alighting, head to Level 3 and walk to the Pink Zone. You’ll see Acolab near the escalator by the Parkson department store.
Entry to the merch store is free, but you would need to purchase a package if you want to dine at the cafe or take photos at the photo zones:

One of the main highlights here has to be the pop-up cafe, where you’ll get to dig into dishes inspired by the show while classic episodes from the animated series play in the background. If you purchased the Meal or Fun Package, look forward to dishes like the Teddy Burger, Big Brekkie, Fish & Chips, and Bathtub Pasta. Themed beverages include Green Lemonade, Fruit Punch, Matcha Red Bean Latte, and Hot Choco.

Those craving something sweet can order desserts, like the Choco Cake (RM28, ~S$8.70) or Banana Pancake (RM32, ~S$9.95) to enjoy, on top of what’s already included in the package.

After your meal, head to the photo zone, which features 8 themed setups inspired by some of Mr. Bean’s most unforgettable moments in the live action. Snap a pic with him as he gets his head stuck in a turkey, drives from an armchair strapped to the top of his car, or plays pretend barber.

There’s also an activity card, which you can use to play interactive games in the photo zones, such as stamp collecting, fill-in-the-blanks, and a word search. Once you’ve completed all the tasks, tear off a portion of the card to turn it into a 35th-anniversary souvenir. Do note that this activity card is only included if you get the Fun Package.

Bring home a piece of the experience with you from the merchandise shop before you leave. Everything here is officially licensed, so no dupes in sight. Pick up a keychain (RM45, ~S$14), a laptop sleeve (RM147, ~S$45.65), or go all out with a bomber jacket (RM309, ~S$95.95) to proudly show off you’re a huge fan.
The next time you’re in KL, whether you’re there for food or shopping, pop by the Mr Bean Experience at Pavilion Bukit Jalil to relive your childhood memories, all while creating new ones.
