There’s hotel, and then there’s the celeb-approved Mondrian boutique hotel hailing all the way from West Hollywood. If you haven’t heard, the Singapore branch has opened in the heart of Duxton, and it’s as opulent and lavish as they say.
Billed as a luxury art deco hotel, Mondrian Singapore Duxton features 302 rooms, a collection of quirky art pieces, a 6m-tall KAWS sculpture, 1970s Hollywood-inspired rooftop lounge, and 4 restaurants and bars that open till late.
As you pull in towards the black and white building, look up and you’ll see a towering 6m-tall KAWS sculpture. Honestly, the bronze statue alone would be enough reason to pay the hotel a visit.
Designed by the same folks behind Mondrian Miami, Los Angeles, London, and Dubai, Mondrian Singapore Duxton is fun and funky. Quirky paintings line the space and abstract sculptures are scattered around the lobby and hallways.

In total, there are 302 rooms ranging from double bed to shophouse suites. Each room is equipped with a Dyson hairdryer, Malin+Goetz bath products, and complimentary cookies and kueh. On the roof sits a full-sized pool with cabanas overlooking the glitzy city skyline for some daytime lounging.
Within Mondrian Singapore Duxton, there are 5 F&B options for vacationers to wine and dine at. There’s Bottega di Carna with its Italian fare and juicy beef dishes, Noa Lounge that serves classic Mediterranean cuisine, Canyon Club dishing up Californian seafood plates, coffee bar Christina’s that turns into a wine bar at night, and Jungle Ballroom that’s lit till 2am.
If stunning decor, IG-ready spots, and fab food are your thing, pay the hotel a visit. The hotel’s a 5-minute walk from Outram Park MRT and is a sight to see. You’ll want to have your camera ready because the vibes and design over here are seriously unmatched.
