The March school holidays are in full swing, and no doubt you’re probably already looking into how to keep the young ones entertained for a whole week. We are, after all, spoilt for choice when it comes to things to do with kids in Singapore. But if you’re looking for a new buzz, check out these things to do during the March holidays:


1. Jumptopia Lite

Bouncy castles are fail-proof when it comes to kids. If yours has plenty of energy to expel, then bring them right over to SingPost Centre for Jumptopia Lite. A collaboration with Kiztopia, the event space-themed event takes over the Level 1 Atrium. Expect 3 huge bouncy arenas filled with UFOs and oddities the kiddos will love.

2. World of Paws

Animal lovers may want to spend time at World of Paws, a dog cafe at Pandan Gardens home to George and his furfriends. They’re offering a holiday season promotion at $18/pax, including complimentary gelato ice cream and a photo-taking sesh with the puppers. Kids of any age group are welcome, as long as they treat the doggos with respect.

3. Disney On Ice


Bring the kids to watch Moana, Aladdin & Simba

Disney on Ice is back this March, just in time for the school holidays. The kids will love watching the cast – made up of 40 professional skaters – singing along to tunes from their favourite movies, from Moana’s courageous voyages to Aladdin’s Arabian Nights. There’s also a store selling Disney-themed merchandise, should you want to take some home for the memories

4. Splashtopia


Huge inflatable water park in Sentosa

Hear ye, hear ye, a new inflatable water park is in town. Splashtopia, a kid-friendly waterpark by Kiztopia, is popping up at Sentosa. There’ll be 9 huge water inflatables for you and your mini-you to conquer. Think: slides, bouncy castles, and obstacle courses, surrounded by the cool splash of water all-round.

5. Pinkfong & Baby Shark Playhouse

There isn’t a kid in the whole who hasn’t heard of Baby Shark. Hardcore fans have lots to do-do-do this month as Pinkfong & Baby Shark Playhouse is here to stay till 31st March. The little ones can dive into ball and sand pits, and zoom down slides, plus try their hand an an array of activities like miniature golf, bowling, and interactive dance floor panels.

There’s also a glow-in-the-dark painting station, a movie corner, and “camping” station for some winding down after all the excitement.

6. Wild Troopers Camp


Train the little ones with outdoor survival skills

Your kid might possibly be the next Bear Grylls after joining the Wild Troopers Camp at Admiralty Park. In the 4-hour camp, they’ll embark on a journey where their outdoor survival skills – like map navigation, animal safety, and safe judgment skills – are put to the test. There’ll also be adventurous challenges for them to take on.

After the camp, make a pitstop at Admiralty Park playground, which has 26 slides, tubes, and zip lines for thie kids to run around in.

7. Harry Potter: A Forbidden Forest Experience

Whether your child is a Potterhead or not, they’re sure to be enchanted at the Harry Potter: A Forbidden Forest Experience. Cute, quirky, and creepy critters from both the Harry Potter  and Fantastic Beasts films await you, as do interactive stations and whimsical lights. 

While you’re there, make sure to try the iconic butterbeer ($14). It’s non-alcoholic, which makes it suitable for muggles and wizards of all ages.

8. Enchanted Tales Balloon Extravaganza

Give a kid a balloon and their day is made. Now, what if you “gave” them 200,000 balloons? That’s what you’ll get when you the yearly Enchanted Tales Balloon Extravaganza at Marina Square.

The display is all about mega-sized balloon sculptures. You’ll see a castle, dragons, and knights – all crafted by 60 balloon artists from 9 countries.

9. Friends of Animals Camp

Animals are always a hit with the young ones, and if your child particularly loves them, then this is the place they need to be this March holidays. Over at the Friends of Animals Camp, they’ll learn about different pets’ traits and needs from vetenarians and animal educators. Just don’t be surprised if Junior comes home asking for a new family pet.

Free-admission interactive exhibits for kids


Interactive exhibits are a great way for kids to express their creativity and getting a hands-on learning experiences. So, take the aspiring Picassos to Keppel Centre for Art Education at National Gallery Singapore.

When you’re there, don’t forget to visit “A Brush With Forest Fire,” where children wield special paint brushes to extinguish virtual forest fires, all while delving into the fascinating world of color theory.
