LEGO F1 Experience The Thrill At Suntec City: Life-Sized LEGO F1 Car & Game Booths With Freebies

LEGO F1 Experience the Thrill at Suntec City

Nothing gets the Little Red Dot riled up like the F1 season. Whether you’re an avid fan of the motorsport or just looking forward to vibing out with the entertainment line-up’s headliners, the atmosphere surrounding the island, especially the city centre, is just rife with excitement.

If you’re heading to town to have a gander at the festivities, consider making a pit stop at Suntec City. They’ve got a LEGO F1 Experience the Thrill pop-up happening as we speak, complete with interactive booths, race-inspired freebies, and of course, a wide range of F1-themed sets to bring home. Here’s all you need to know before making your way down.

What to know about the LEGO F1 Experience the Thrill pop-up?

The LEGO F1 Experience is taking place at the Suntec City Atrium, Towers 3 and 4, and will run from now till 18th October 2026, from 11am to 9.30pm daily. Entry is free of charge.

The most convenient way of getting to the pop-up is to alight at Promenade MRT station on the Downtown Line, which puts you right in front of Towers 3 and 4 of Suntec City. Alternatively, you can get off at Esplanade MRT or City Hall MRT stations; both options will have you walking over from the Western end of the mall, which takes about 10 minutes.

What to expect at the LEGO F1 Experience the Thrill pop-up?

Collect your Race Pass & visit 4 interactive booths for a freebie

You’ll get to choose from designs that sport LEGO F1 Racer Minifigures donning get-ups of your favourite racing teams.

Once you’ve made your way to the pop-up, first things first – you’ll want to pick up your very own LEGO F1 Race Pass at the redemption booth at the front. It allows you to collect digital stamps at the 4 interactive booths; get at least 3 out of 4 stamps, and you’ll be rewarded with a sweet freebie at the end of the experience.

First up is the Gear-Up Zone, where you’re invited to put together a LEGO replica of an F1 car steering wheel. You’ll have to refer to a diagram of the complete steering wheel and follow it to a tee, and fit in the bits and bobs all within 30 seconds to earn a stamp. Our tip? Fish out all the parts needed from the bin beside you before hitting the red button to start the countdown.

Right next door is the Speed Zone. This one will virtually put you behind the wheel of a LEGO F1 car, and it’s up to you to pilot it to victory. Control your ride via touch screen controls, and you’ll be given a score based on your timing. The controls are pretty sensitive, so the key here is to have a delicate touch.

The Sprint Zone will test if you’ve got the cat-like reflexes of an F1 driver. The challenge is simple – keep your eyes on a series of lights, and hit the button once they all turn red. For some friendly competition, there’s also a leaderboard, where the top 3 fastest participants will win LEGO F1 sets.

The best we could manage was a time of 0.180s; not nearly quick enough to top Singaporean racing driver Ethan Brown’s impressive reaction time of 0.161s.

Last but not least, the Victory Zone is essentially a photo booth experience where you can snap a pic for keepsake. You’ll get to strike a pose alongside a LEGO F1 Racer Minifigure of your choosing, pick your favourites taking to the asphalt this Singapore Grand Prix.

Once you’ve had your fill of the race-fueled fun, head back to the redemption booth, because those who’ve collected at least 3 digital stamps can redeem a sweet reward. You can choose between a mini LEGO Steering Wheel set, or a voucher for either $10 off LEGO sets or a free Build-A-Minifigure experience at the LEGO store at Suntec City.

Snap pics at a life-sized LEGO F1 car & a community-built mosaic wall

At the centre of all the high-octane action is a life-sized VCARB F1 LEGO Big Build sculpture. Go ahead and snap away; this masterpiece is made from nearly 400,000 LEGO elements and took 1,800 hours of precise craftsmanship to put together.

Fun fact: it’s the very work of art that Visa Cash App Racing Bulls racer Liam Lawson drove during the 2025 Miami Grand Prix’s drivers’ parade. Peer closely, and you’ll spot battle damage and scuffs from the event.

At the back of the pop-up, you’ll find a Mosaic Wall that’s built by members from the local LEGO community. Done in partnership with Adult LEGO Fans (ALFs), they’ll lay the foundation first, before the public can have a go at contributing to the artwork with their own LEGO builds through a guided activity on 9th October 2026.

Nearby, a display featuring some of the LEGO sets you can snag at the pop-up is set up for all to see. If you’re considering buying a couple, swing by the display first; It’s great for visualising how the sets will ultimately look once fully assembled.

Stepping away from the pop-up for a bit, be sure to keep your eyes peeled for 10 LEGO F1 Racer Minifigures and their technical team scattered around Suntec City. Apart from being a cool photo spot, these installations all have a QR code too. Scan your first one and register your mobile number; there are 4 QR codes in total to track down.

Once you’ve successfully scanned all 4 of them, you’ll be entered into a lucky draw. Cross your fingers, and you just might be one of 3 lucky winners to take home a LEGO City F1 Display Truck with Audi F1 Race Car set.
