About a year back, Downtown East’s Tsum Tsum pop-up store graced the island with its cuteness. Hardcore fans may even recall Vivocity’s Tsum Tsum display back during 2018’s Mid-Autumn Festival. If you can’t get enough of the chonkiness, we’ve spotted Tsum Tsum lanterns making a return this year at Jurong Point.
Visit from 22nd August to 10th September 2022 regardless of whether you’re a mega fan or well, Minnie fan. Get it? Moving on.

Lanterns are a staple to the mid-autumn festival every year – but they don’t always have to be in an ol’ cylindrical silhouette with a stick of candle in the middle. It’s the 21st century and our lanterns come cute.

Other than checking out the celestial-themed lanterns at Wan Qing Mid-Autumn Festival, kids and the young at heart alike can visit Jurong Point for its Tsum Tsum display. You can’t miss the tunnel of lanterns at the entrance of the mall, clearly visible when you arrive via MRT.

Around 100 characters are featured in this tunnel so you’re sure to be able to find your all-time favourite, no matter if it’s Snow White, Buzz Lightyear, or Goofy. Visit post-dinner – the lanterns look great during the day but thanks to the fairy lights, this display is sure to look better at night.

Bigger is better they say. We’d say the giant Pooh lantern right by the tunnel makes it hard to disagree. For those hoping to snap some photos, there are also themed backdrops to get some lit photos with family and friends.

The mall also has a slew of promotions including the redemption of limited-edition lanterns, mooncakes, and merchandise when you spend a minimum of $50. For mooncake fans, we hear Jurong Point also has snow skin and durian mooncake deals this season – view the full list of Jurong Point promotions.
Else, just visit for the lanterns. Better zoom, or tsum, there fast before the crowd hits!
