11 Hotel Staycations With Next-Level Bathtubs From $163/Night To Soak The Stress Away

Hotels with bathtubs in Singapore

Thanks to the monsoon season, we have been blessed with the soft pitter-patter of raindrops on our windows, as well as chilly temperatures which are perfect for snuggling up to binge-watch shows. Or, for you and your loved one to share a relaxing dip in a hot bath. While most HDBs don’t come with one, there are plenty of hotels with large bathtubs so you can finally use your bath bombs or frolic in a bubble bath.

Rates shown are estimates before tax, service charges and discounts, accurate at the time of writing and may be subject to change.

What’s the best way to draw a bath?

Before even running the water, you’ll want to prepare everything else you need. That includes any books, smart devices, drinks, and snacks you want to consume. Place them on a bathtub tray for easy access, or grab a stool or side table so they stay within reach. You’ll also want all your body cleansing soaps, bath robe, and towel nearby so you don’t have to get up from soaking to get anything.

As for the water, start off with hot water and fill the tub up ⅓-½ of the way. Now’s a good time to throw in bath bombs or bath foams to get them sudsy. If you have bath salts, keep them in a mesh or muslin bag before tossing into the water. This way, you’re not laying on top of rough salt crystals.

Fill the rest of the tub with cold water – it should be hot enough that it’s not scalding you when you get in. But you don’t want it too cold either, otherwise it won’t be comfortable to soak in.

It’s also a good idea to do a quick rinse in the shower beforehand so you’re not sitting in your own filth the whole time you’re in the bathtub.
