We’ve checked, all these hotels still have rooms available – for now! Treat yourself to a staycation with views of the fireworks on 9th August or during the NDP rehearsals and previews.

With a red and white flag and a National Day Guide in hand, it’s time to start strategising on where to get the best views of the National Day Parade Fireworks. An important thing to take note of is that NDP 2026 will be happening at the National Stadium instead of the Padang, a first in 10 years, so keep that in mind when making your bookings to ensure unobstructed views of the pyrotechnics.
If you weren’t able to snag NDP tickets, some of the most popular places to catch them include the Stadium Riverside Walk, Tanjong Rhu Promenade, Kallang Riverside Park, and Merlion Park.
To avoid being smushed and your IG pics being photobombed by stray hands and phones on the actual day itself, you can catch the fireworks during the rehearal runs on the following dates:
Based on the recent rehearsals, you can expect the first fireworks to be set off around 7.30pm-7.35pm. Additional bursts will happen at around 7.45pm and just before 8pm. The largest ones will light up the sky after the singing of the National Anthem, which takes place around 8.30pm, and is said to last 10 minutes or so.
Witnessing the fireworks from the comfort of a hotel is also a good idea. Remember to let your hotel know when booking that you’d like a room on a higher floor, especially if it’s a distance away from the National Stadium. Here’s a price breakdown of hotels where you can watch the sparkling display.
Now that you know the price breakdown, let’s dive into our list of hotel picks for the best NDP fireworks views.

If you’d like to be close to the National Day festivities to soak in the vibes but rather not contend with the crowds, opt for a stay at PARKROYAL on Beach Road. It’s just under a 10-minute drive to where the action’s taking place at the National Stadium, so you’ll undoubtedly be able to take in the massive fireworks displays in all their splendour.
What’s more, the hotel has a National Day Getaway package which you can purchase for a stay on National Day itself, from now till 31st July 2026.
Other than kicking back in their comfy Superior Room, you can enjoy a complimentary poolside dinner on the big day that’ll be serving BBQ delights and free-flow drinks. When the party dies down, you can swing by the hotel’s St. Gregory Spa to indulge in a good rub down, after all, the package comes with $61 in spa credits too.
Book PARKROYAL on Beach Road’s National Day Getaway.
One of Singapore’s most swoon-worthy photo spots ain’t Marina Bay Sands or Jewel Changi. No sir, it’s from the bathtub of The Ritz-Carlton. They’ve got rooms that specifically face the expanse of the Kallang Basin, with an added bonus:. these Kallang precinct-facing rooms are actually more affordable than those that look out towards Marina Bay.

We predict these rooms will get snapped up as we approach August, as they sport octagonal windows with spectacular views of the National Stadium, which will be the backdrop for this year’s NDP fireworks. They’ve even got huge windows in their bathrooms so you can take a relaxing soak as the fireworks go pop in the distance.
Located on floors 25 to 39 of the DUO Tower in Bugis, Andaz Singapore is definitely perched high enough for its guests to catch the NDP fireworks. Its close proximity to the display itself also ensures that you’ll not only see the spectacle, but also hear the booming sounds of the pyrotechnics overhead.
As for room choice, you’ll want to go for the hotel’s Sea Room Deluxe rooms. Although you won’t be directly facing the epicentre of the celebrations, you should still be able to catch the fireworks in the corner of your view, as these rooms feature sweeping views of the Singapore Strait.
If you prefer to view the fireworks in open air, simply head up to the hotel’s rooftop bar, the popular Mr. Stork, which serves as an even better vantage point. Experiencing the NDP festivities firsthand is also another option. Since the hotel is directly connected to Bugis MRT station, you can immerse yourself in the NDP’s fringe activities going on in the neighbourhood before retreating back to the hotel before the fireworks go off.
Swap skyscraping hotels with this one in the quaint Tanjong Katong neighbourhood that’s perfectly equipped to play host to your National Day escapade. Firstly, it’s just an 18-minute bus ride away from the NDP-related happenings at The Kallang, which makes getting back to your hotel mighty easy after an exhausting day proclaiming your love for Singapore.
But remaining at the hotel for the entirety of National Day is also an option too. Although Hotel Indigo Singapore Katong doesn’t quite have astounding views of the city, it makes up for it with its rooftop infinity pool, which proves to be just the place to watch the fireworks light up the sky from.

Another plus point the hotel has over its competitors in the city centre is that the rooms here are more affordably priced, with the cheapest rooms starting from under $250 per night.

PARKROYAL COLLECTION Marina Bay has been quite the spot to catch the NDP fireworks for a few years running. That’s because its Urban Deluxe Room comes with a private balcony that faces the Marina Bay precinct, and for those who wanted to splurge, their Signature Marina Bay Room offers unparalleled views of the booming light show.

Now that the parade has shifted over to the National Stadium, the hotel unfortunately does not have any rooms facing The Kallang, but that doesn’t mean its guests are out of luck. You can still head up to the hotel’s Skyline Bar to witness the spectacle. As its name suggests, it’s a rooftop bar with a swimming pool to boot, so you can enjoy the fireworks as you take a dip, with a tipple in hand.

For a boutique staycation in the CBD without breaking your budget, Naumi Singapore is your best bet. It’s known for its design-led rooms – think cheerful, Warhol-inspired suites or a zen Muji-like room with airy fabrics and light wooden furniture that’ll spark envy amongst your IG pals.
We recommend the Patio Rooms which come with a private outdoor deck surrounded by greenery, complete with a cosy daybed, for some peace and quiet. However, do note that there are no views of the fireworks from here.

When you’re ready to get in on the NDP action, head up to the rooftop infinity pool for unobstructed views of the National Day fireworks against the city skyline.
Mandarin Oriental is one of the bougiest hotel chains in the world, with locations from London to Hong Kong. Its Singapore location atop Marina Square has great panoramic views including that of the National Stadium. As such, this hotel is a great pick to see the NDP fireworks in Singapore.

Most of their rooms feature huge floor-to-ceiling windows, making viewing the soaring rockets that much more enjoyable, but you’ll still want to call in to ask for a room on the higher floors for the best experience. A good alternative to a room view is heading to either the hotel’s MO Bar or BAY@5, their al fresco lounge. Both have great access to the city skyline and better vantage of the festivities in the area.

They say the best view is always from the top, so naturally, you’ll want to watch the NDP by staying at Singapore’s tallest hotel, Swissotel The Stamford. This 5-star giant has rooms right up to the 65th floor, meaning you’ll be amongst all the explosions of colour.
Pop a bottle of bubbly and shout Majulah Singapura from the comfort of your own balcony in their Premium Marina Bay Room.
Although the room’s view is centered mostly on Marina Bay, you’re so high up that you’ll be able to catch a glimpse of the fireworks over at the National Stadium. Moreover, the room has all the amenities you’d expect from a suite like a bathtub and a king-sized bed, but the private balcony adds oomph to the whole experience, especially from such a towering height.

When it comes to hotels in Singapore with a close-up fireworks view, Fairmont Singapore’s Deluxe Room is one of the better choices. Even though their popular Deluxe Marina Bay Rooms have been fully booked, you can still soak in panoramic views of Marina Bay from the balcony. It’s no wonder that this hotel has been a long-time favourite amongst Singaporeans during NDP season.

With views stretching beyond Marina Bay, JW Marriott Hotel Singapore South Beach has become a preferred hotel for many tourists and locals alike. Book a night at the Premier Marina Bay Room for views of the fireworks without leaving the comfort of your room.
Even if you booked a different room, head over to Flow 18 – the hotel’s sky garden and swimming pool – to enjoy the fireworks with the city’s skyline as your background.

Pan Pacific Singapore is a no-brainer when it comes to booking NDP staycations, especially with its location right by Marina Bay. It’s quite a bit taller than its neighbours, standing at an impressive 37 floors tall, so you’ll most likely be able to catch the fireworks happening even as they burst above the National Stadium.

For families, check into the Urban Jungle Suite, a themed suite which has separate sleeping zones for parents in the main bedroom; and a jungle-themed room with an inflatable rocking hippo, a teepee, and a treehouse bunk bed for 2 kids.
The Urban Jungle Suites have no views of Marina Bay, but the kids will be just as excited to head up to the swimming pool to catch the fireworks.
Catch this year’s dazzling pyrotechnics display and light projection at these hotels with views of the fireworks, away from the crowds. If you already have other plans for 9th August, you can also catch the fireworks during the National Day Parade rehearsals every Saturday from now till the actual day.
