Haidilao Is Giving Out Cute Jellycat-Like Vegetable Plushies With Meals At Outlets Islandwide

If there’s anything Haidilao knows how to do right, it’s hosting bubbling hotpot feasts with a complimentary treat on the side. They’ve given out free rug tufting sessions and blind boxes in the past, and today they’re hopping on the Jellycat craze by handing out cute vegetable-themed plushies of their own.

Here’s all you need to know about snagging one to add to your plush collection FOC when you dine at the popular hotpot chain.

Spend at least $80 & say the secret password for a free plush

These plushies take the form of a bamboo shoot, broccoli, corn cob, and bok choy.

In order to claim one of these veggie companions, you’ll first have to spend at least $80 during your visit to any Haidilao outlets islandwide. You also have the option to rack up a bill of $160, which will net you 2 plushies instead. There are a total of 4 to collect, so repeat hotpot runs are a must if you’re looking to complete the set.

You’ll also have to whisper a secret password to the Haidilao staff in order to claim your free plush. Simply let them know that “Eating vegetables is good for your health”, or “爱吃蔬菜身体好” in Mandarin, and they’ll know what’s up.

If you’re lucky, you might even be given a live vegetable “cooking” demonstration featuring the plushies, so you can rest assured you’ll be walking home with the freshest of produce.

Much like other Haidilao fans online, we’re expecting them to drop a new series of fruit-themed plushies soon.

In other news, Haidilao is also preparing to launch their second wave of plushies. As such, from now till 31st October 2024, they’re giving out random complimentary dishes for those who turn up to their restaurants with a full squad of the original 4 vegetable plushies.
