Parents, we know you love your kids, but you gotta admit that they can sometimes be a handful. Everyone wants to spend some quality time with the fam, but few are down to entertain the whims and fancies of their hyperactive tods.
Well, all that changes at the cinema. As most parents would agree, one of the most foolproof ways to keep the kiddos entertained and occupied for a good few hours is by taking them to the movies. And spoiler alert, children can enjoy free tickets at all Golden Village Cinemas from now till 18th November. Here’s all you need to know:
One ticket for Mum, one ticket for Dad, and 2 extra tickets for the kids, on the house. That’s how Golden Village’s promo works. For every standard ticket purchased, one child aged 6 and below will receive a free movie ticket.
You’ll also have to to bring along their ICs or birth certs for identification, so the ushers won’t have reason to believe your young’un has Benjamin Button syndrome.

This promotion is available at all standard Golden Village Cinemas, for weekday movie screenings before 2pm. To prevent any accidental scarring-of-childhoods, the 1-for-1 is only valid for kid-friendly movie titles that sport G, PG, and PG13 ratings.
For flicks that’ll make you laugh and go “aw’” check out the latest animated comedies like DC League Of Super-Pets and Minions 2: The Rise Of Gru. Or, if your child is a mini action-buff, catch up with new blockbuster releases like Black Adam and Top Gun: Maverick. You can look up Golden Village’s entire roster of movies currently showing and discuss which one to watch with your kiddo.
Bring your kids down to your nearest Golden Village Cinema before 18th November, for a fam outing that’ll save you some money. Do note that you’ll have to purchase your tickets physically to qualify for your child’s free tickets. Afterwards, you can even take them to an indoor playground where they can horse around to their heart’s content.
A “best parent award” can’t be far.
