We love staycations for good reason: Without the cost and time spent taking a trip beyond Singapore’s borders, you get a vacation nonetheless. But the next time you want to get away from home for a while, consider glamping instead of staying in a hotel – you’ll still get comfy beds, while waking up to nature around you. That’s right, no suffering on a thin sleeping bag on the hard floor in a tiny, stuffy tents!

Who knew that camping could come with so much sparkle and style? With Wondrous Glampers, expect maximum cosiness with plush cushions and rugs. Tents cost $150/night, with a choice between a queen-sized air mattress or 2 single-sized ones. Beds come with linen, pillows and blankets – just like what you’d find at any hotel. There are even battery-operated fans to keep you cool throughout the night.
Don’t expect your accommodation to just be comfortable – there’ll be fairy lights strung everywhere for that twinkling effect, snacks such as chips, and a Bluetooth speaker for you to play out your favourite tunes.
You can also opt for a picnic set-up in addition to the tent, at a top-up of $100 for 2 people or $400 for up to 20 people if you’re throwing a party. Whether it’s for a birthday celebration or a hen’s party, there will be tables, rugs, throw pillows and a set table for an outdoor meal by the beach. Plus, complimentary packet drinks to top everything off? Cheers to that.
