If you’ve been a fervent follower of K-pop, especially during the peak of the Hallyu Wave
of the late 2000s, you’ll definitely have heard of G-Dragon and his influence on the K-music scene. Whether as part of the legendary quartet that is BIG BANG or his exploits as a solo artist, he ain’t called the King of K-pop for nothing.
He’s still mighty relevant till this day, having recently dropped his latest solo album Übermensch, a whopping 13 years after his last, to much acclaim. What’s more, he’s pairing his comeback with a pop-up experience that has finally made its way here – the G-DRAGON MEDIA EXHIBITION: Übermensch. From virtually rubbing shoulders with the legend to Singapore-exclusive merch, here’s what longstanding fans can expect:

The G-DRAGON MEDIA EXHIBITION: Übermensch is a pop-up exhibition that’s happening at Jewel Changi Airport, from now till 13th October 2025. It’s themed after G-Dragon’s latest album, Übermensch, and will feature 5 immersive zones housing plenty of photo ops and interactive elements that will definitely delight fans.

Visitors can buy their tickets online via Klook, and they’re going for $30/pax. Do note that the exhibition is split up into a ticketed and non-ticketed zone as well; the ticketed zone can be found at the Changi Experience Studio on Level 4 of the mall, while the non-ticketed zone can be accessed via the South Gateway Garden & South Lookout on Level 2.
Fans of GD, you’ll not want to miss this one. After making its rounds in other countries like Seoul, Tokyo, and Hong Kong, the G-DRAGON MEDIA EXHIBITION: Übermensch pop-up has found itself on Singapore’s sunny shores, at Jewel Changi Airport.
One of the 5 zones you’ll come across at the pop-up is the Media Tech Zone. Like its name suggests, it’s decked out with a bunch of new-fangled installations to check out, such as this amalgamation of screens displaying scenes from the artist’s music videos.
Also part of the Media Tech Zone is a VR experience, where you’ll don VR headsets to virtually get up close with the man himself as he seranades you with his hit Take Me. Moving on, there are also a couple of screens peppered throughout the zone that are joined side by side to create a 3D effect, as GD struts his stuff and busts a move seamlessly across screens.
You’ll want to get your camera out for the Artist Zone, as there are plenty of photo spots that FAMs are sure to recognise. 2 of them that stood out to us were the subway set and the “powerbooth” scrawled with graffiti that featured in the artiste’s POWER music video.
For those not able to catch G-Dragon in the flesh at this year’s F1 Singapore Grand Prix, the pop-up’s got the next best thing.

Rack up a minimum spend of $388 at the pop-up, and you’ll be entitled to a special hologram video experience with the King of K-pop himself. Strike a pose beside the bashful Ji-yong; at the end of it, you’ll get a link to download the video too. On the other hand, visitors who shell out at least $288 on merch will receive an exclusive photo card.
Speaking of which, the Merchandising Zone of the pop-up is sure to be packed with fans looking to cop a memento or 2, so don’t be alarmed if a snaking queue awaits you here.

Some standout items to consider bringing home with you include GD’s official light stick ($78) that’s shaped like a daisy and the light stick cradle ($38) which resembles a plant pot. To emulate GD’s immaculate fashion, the scarf ($62) is essential to complete his quintessential look, while the Singapore short sleeve T-shirts ($98) are exclusive to the Little Red Dot’s pop-up.

Before you go, there’s also a free, non-ticketed zone to check out. Located on Level 2 at the South Gateway Garden & South Lookout is a 3m-tall daisy monument set up against the backdrop of the majestic Rain Vortex. Feel free to snap away here; bonus points if you’ve got the matching light stick to flaunt.
If you’ve noticed extra footfall at Jewel Changi Airport, it’s probably caused by the stampede of GD devotees looking to snag some merch before his F1 performance. As such, should you wish to swing by to have a look for yourself, we recommend visiting after the race weekend.
Admission: $33/pax (inclusive of booking fee)
Venue: Changi Experience Studio, Level 4, Jewel Changi
