Friendship is one of the most important relationships we carry through life, and Forgotten Island puts that bond front and centre. To celebrate the upcoming animated movie, there’s a Movie Jeepney Experiential Pop-up at Lot One packed with bestie-friendly things to do.
Think colourful Jeepney photo-ops, hands-on crafts, a Memory Wall, weekend photobooth, and even a portal installation that gives you a small taste of the movie’s fantasy world. These little moments are made for reminiscing with your ride-or-die before the movie opens in cinemas on 24th September 2026. Read on for a cheeky preview before you head down.
Before the movie hits cinemas, you can get a small taste of the Forgotten Island world IRL from now till 20th September at Lot One. The activation leans into the film’s Filipino setting and colourful fantasy aesthetic, with little touches throughout that make it feel like more than just a standard movie display.
Walking in, you’ll see an Optical Illusion Photo Spot that plays into the idea of stepping into another world. The whole setup works nicely as a casual hangout spot in between shopping and getting food at the mall.
You’ll probably spot the Jeepney photo-op first, thanks to its bright colours. This installation gives a fun nod to one of the Philippines’ most iconic modes of transport. And it’s a much better backdrop for bestie pics if your camera is already full of plain ol’ mirror selfies.
But you don’t just take photos for your IG feed – once you’ve got the shot, you can make it count. Share your photo on your Instagram Story or feed, tag @UIPSINGAPORE and @LOTONESG, and you’ll stand a chance to win exclusive Forgotten Island merchandise. 2 pairs of winners will be picked after the activation period and contacted via Instagram DM.
There’s also a weekend photobooth that is available from Fridays to Sundays, perfect for you to snap some pics with your bestie to commemorate a fun day out.
Making friendship bracelets with the gang growing up is a universal childhood memory. So, here’s an activity that will bring the nostalgia right back. At the Forgotten Island activation, make a little keepsake together that you can actually bring home.
The activity changes depending on when you visit. On Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, there’s bracelet making; while shrink wrap keychain making takes over on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

Don’t worry even if you failed art in school – both of these are easy, low-pressure crafts. You don’t have to be Picasso to join in the fun.
This is the time to make matching pieces, personalise one for each other, or just see whose turns out less chaotic. Either way, it’s a cute little throwback to the kind of kawaii keepsakes we all used to make.

The setup at Lot One gives you a pretty good clue as to what Forgotten Island is all about. The new DreamWorks Animation fantasy adventure follows lifelong best friends Jo and Raissa, voiced by H.E.R. and Liza Soberano, as they’re about to graduate from high school and head down separate paths.
On their last night together, the pair stumble through a mysterious portal into Nakali, a fantastical island filled with mythical creatures they grew up hearing about from their Filipino families. Cue everything from a hapless weredog to the terrifying Manananggal, voiced by Filipino songstress Lea Salonga. And if you thought that name sounds familiar, she’s the singing voice behind Princess Jasmine in Aladdin and Fa Mulan in Mulan. Mad iconic!

There’s plenty of fantasy and Filipino folklore in the mix, but at its heart, the story is about girlhood, growing up, and what happens when a friendship you thought would last forever starts to change. And for us Singaporeans, there’s also something extra fun about seeing all that SEAbling representation make its way onto the big screen.
