Foodline – The One-Stop Catering Service That Changed Catering In Singapore

About FoodLine

I’ve never liked catering. The problem doesn’t lie with the food – it’s the pains of working around a budget and finding a suitable caterer that gives me a headache. I remember the days of scrolling through Google, clicking on every website, calculating the costs, before sighing when my budget is yet again exceeded.

Thankfully, FoodLine offers the perfect solution. FoodLine is Singapore’s largest catering portal with more than 50 caterers You can tailor your search based on your requirements, offers and also read reviews from past customers. With the ability to make a better informed decision, I might just volunteer to help organize the next party.

Why FoodLine?

1. All Caterers on a Single Platform

Regardless of whether you’re planning for a wedding, buffet or even a baby’s shower, there’s no need to click on ten different websites searching for your ideal caterer. FoodLine houses more than 50 popular caterers in Singapore, all on a single website.

Start searching either for a specific menu or caterer, and refine your search based on your requirements, such as budget, halal or non-halal, and even type of cuisine.

In the past, I had to spend hours clicking on every caterer’s website, just to compare prices. With FoodLine, the different menus and prices are displayed on a single page, enabling you to compare caterers at a glance.

2. Optimise Your Experience

The FoodLine website is optimised for the best user experience, giving you options to tailor your search based on your needs.

Whether you’re catering for a dessert party, a BBQ outing with friends, or tingkat for your daily meals, select the relevant options in the menu category to filter out unsuitable caterers.

Whether you want to search based on caterer, or you have a specific caterer in mind, choose from the different options above. I love the option of choosing for a halal or non-halal caterer, especially when I’m catering for my Malay friends.

Filter your search based your requirements and budget. Looking specifically for Western cuisine for your Christmas party? Choose from the options above.

3. Read Reviews From Past Customers

From my experience, ordering from a good caterer was largely either by chance, or by word of mouth. Now, FoodLine helps you to make a better judgement by offering reviews from past customers. Only customers who had ordered from the caterer, through FoodLine, are able to post reviews and rate the caterer.

As you scroll through the reviews and compare ratings, you can get a better idea of what the recommended dishes are, how the caterer’s service is like, and even take extra precautions. Furthermore, the reviews come complete with pictures of the food, enabling you to make a more informed decision!

4. Take Part In Special Events and Promotions

Whenever the holiday season comes around, the mad rush to order from a caterer – before it’s completely sold out – begins. Amidst the frantic searching, special promotions would be the last thing on anyone’s minds. However, FoodLine even offers promotions during holiday seasons, giving away cash or vouchers to further sweeten up your holiday.

FoodLine also highlights catering menus which are suitable for the special occasion. If it’s Chinese New Year, FoodLine will direct you to Chinese menus with the best promotions. What’s more, there are other promotions available all year round – FoodLine shows you the latest promotions by caterers, such as free delivery, free cash vouchers, or free side dishes.

5. Get Cash Rewards For Reviewing!

Here’s the cherry on the cake – FoodLine even gives you cash rewards with every order! Depending on the caterer, FoodLine guarantees a cash reward ranging from $5 to 5% of the total bill. To claim your reward, simply make your order, and submit your review, invoice, and bank account information to FoodLine.

My Experience

I decided to try using FoodLine for a mini-catering at my office. With a budget constraint, I scrolled through the menus on FoodLine, keeping an eye out for the price per person and the caterer’s ratings. I eventually decided on Ronnie’s Kitchen’s ‘7 course mini buffet’, which had a decent rating of 4.2 / 5, enticing photos, and positive reviews.

As I looked through the menu, I was in a dilemma – there were too many options to choose from! I eventually settled on the chef’s recommendations and past customers’ favourite dishes, such as the curry chicken.

Ordering online is a simple process: simply choose your dishes, fill in the online form, and after submitting, a confirmation email is immediately sent out. After 2 days, I received a call from Ronnie’s Kitchen to confirm my order. On the day itself, the service was decent, and food was  swiftly delivered to the office.

Finding a caterer through FoodLine was an easy and pleasant experience. Furthermore, I was entitled to a $10 cash reward after submitting my review!

Final Thoughts

FoodLine helps you to save time by making your search for a caterer simple and hassle-free. I love how easy it is to use – with just a few clicks, I’m able to scroll through a list of caterers and menus. Ordering is made easy, and cash rewards are an extra bonus.
