You Now Get An Extra $0.50 Every Time You Top Up Your EZ-Link Card With The Mobile App

Get cashback with the EZ-Link app

We can’t live without our EZ-Link cards, and that’s a fact. Whether it’s to hop on a quick bus ride to the mall, or on a train ride into town, these handy cards make everything from daily commutes to vending machine purchases so much easier.

Now, you can top up your card without stepping out of the house with the EZ-Link app. Bonus for Android users: from now to 31st October 2020, snag $0.50 cashback with every top-up you make on the app. With the ability to scrape up to $2 in cashback per card every month, you can accumulate additional cash to spend on your favourite food or beauty services.

Here’s how it works:

Earn $0.50 cashback by topping up on the mobile app

Scrambling to the nearest EZ-Link top-up station when our card funds are running low is a familiar affair, but thankfully, the EZ-Link app can save us from all that trouble by letting us top up our cards from the comfort of our homes. If you’re an iOS user and have tried using the app before, no worries – the top-up function has since been made available for you as well.

For Android users, you can even get $0.50 after every top-up! The standard minimum top-up amount of $10 applies here as well, but first, you’ll first need to download the EZ-Link app and activate your EZ-Link Wallet by keying in your SingPass details.

To start accumulating the cashback, simply do a top-up by placing your card on the back of an NFC-enabled device and selecting the amount you want to top up. You can check if your phone supports this feature by:

  • Going into Settings > Wireless and Networks
  • Clicking on “More”
  • Checking for an option for NFC.

Once you’ve successfully topped up your card, you’ll find $0.50 cashback sitting comfortably in your EZ-Link Wallet

You can use the credit in your EZ-Link Wallet for cashless payments to get your favourite BBT drink from Gong Cha, a new pair of kicks from Skechers, or other goodies from any of these EZ-Link-accepted SGQR merchants. When you’re at a physical store, simply scan the SGQR code at the counter with the in-app scanner to make payments using your EZ-Link Wallet.

Remember, you can get a total of $2 cashback per card every month. If you’re gunning for some serious savings, you can even help your pals without an Android phone to top up their cards – that way, you can snag even more cashback!

Snag cashback with the EZ-Link app

Scouring the Internet for deals may be a favourite pastime of the average Singaporean. But from now to 31st October 2020, Android users needn’t look further than your humble EZ-Link card, as topping-up using the EZ-Link app will net you a $0.50 cashback each time.

With up to $2 cashback a month, be prepared to rake in some savings by using the money you’ve earned to offset everything from meals to beauty services. For more updates, be sure to give them a follow on Facebook page, Instagram account and Telegram channel.
