We’re back with another light festival, and this time, frequent border-crossers will be thrilled to add another late-night JB activity to their itinerary. Meet the Enchanted Garden Rainbow Light Festival, JB’s latest light installation event and family-friendly attraction.

Enchanted Garden Rainbow Light Festival is a fantasy garden-themed event happening in JB. The light installations span 6 acres, illuminating the night sky from now until 2nd December 2024.
The light festival is held at Sireh Park Camping Site, Johor. It is a 23-minute drive from JB Sentral. If you’re not driving into JB, we recommend booking a Grab ride, which will cost around RM25.
The garden is open daily, from 8pm-12am. Tickets can be purchased on-site at RM10/adult and RM8/child for ages 3-12. If you’re going cashless, you can pay using the Touch’n Go e-wallet app (App Store | Google Play).
You won’t want to miss the chance to scream your stress away if you’ve been riddled with work or school. The voice-activated fountain is right next to the giant inflatable rubber duck, and you can challenge your friends to a shouting contest. The fountain can rise to a whopping 300 feet, depending on how loud your shouts are.
Here’s a chance to see the northern lights without spending a fortune on a plane ticket to Europe. Laser light installations around the park project auroras illuminating the night sky, creating an overcast of fantasy-looking clouds.
Take a leisure stroll through the stretch of flower displays and pose for the ‘gram with the multiple photo ops along the way. The garden has over 150,000 artificial glowing tulips, roses, and rice paddies. For flower enthusiasts, this is the next best spot to be at if you’ve missed Tulipmania or Rose’s Romance at Gardens by the Bay this year.
There are also cute, larger-than-life inflatables peppered around the park. Snap a photo next to the adorable bunny or mimic Nailong’s judgemental expression.
Instead of another karaoke session or night market walk, head over to the Enchanted Garden Rainbow Light Festival during your next JB day trip before returning to Singapore. It’s only here for a limited time, so bookmark this affordable date night spot to send to bae or your fellow girlfriends.
