For Easties, the Marine Parade precinct probably ranks highly on your list of favourite weekend haunts to while away the balmy afternoons. From leisurely cycling past the idyllic scenery of East Coast Park to shopping till you drop at the iconic Parkway Parade, there’s plenty of family fun to be had on the sunny shores of Marine Parade.
If you’re looking for something new to do in the coastal neighbourhood, then look no further than the upcoming Easty Breezy Bazaar. Located at Marine Parade Central and Marine Terrace, it’s happening over 20th-22nd September 2024, from 4pm-8pm on Friday and 11am-8pm over the weekend. It’s a seaside-themed marketplace that’s gracing your weekend with yummy bites, sustainable fashion pieces, and thoughtful activities. Here’s what you can expect:
Fashionistas will definitely want to check out the Easty Breezy Bazaar marketplace located at Marine Parade Central, as it features offerings from a slew of local designers and brands. For a taste of Bali, elevate your fits with Think Batik’s intricately-patterned batik wear. Do take a look at Vine and Branches and Aestival Elements too; they’re all about creating fashion that’s equal parts eco-friendly and stylish.

If you have a green thumb, you’ll want to swing by stalls like Lyn’s Hydro Plants and PLOOK PLOOK to pick up potted companions to spruce up your WFH sitch. The latter even sells 3D-printed planters that come complete with a hidden drip tray, so your whole setup is pleasing on the eyes yet functional in every way.
The green theme doesn’t end there, as Soap Play SG’s 100% natural soap bars keep you and the environment squeaky clean. Also, ditch the plastic bags and instead opt for hello little chompers’ handy wet bags, to store soaked clothes from days at the pool or by the beach.
Other mementos to bring home include exclusive Easty Breezy Bazaar merch. Inner Child Creations has cute trolley tokens so you don’t have to fish for coins in your purse on your grocery runs. EASTIMEWA will be selling thoughtful trinkets as well, like fishing lure-like keychains and a singing sea bass toy, as a nod to Marine Parade’s rich maritime history.
When you need a breather from all the shopping, take a breather at the various food stalls at Easty Breezy Bazaar. In particular, grab a bite at 10 Cent Pancake, their pancakes take the form of an oversized $0.10 coin, and they’re stuffed with mozzarella for a satisfying cheese pull.

You can also cool down with Power Pops’ frozen popsicles that are made of all-natural Greek yoghurt. These come in all sorts of fruity flavours; their Mighty Muscles flavour provides hints of mango and peaches, while Energy Blast is packed with banana and peanut butter.

Also, keep an eye out for the roving performances by Circus of Altrades. The Singapore acrobatic troupe will be wowing onlookers with their daring acrobatic acts, so have your cameras at the ready to capture their mesmerising performances.

Easty Breezy Bazaar also has some activities lined up for visitors to keep their hands busy. Visit Tinysnips for workshops that test your nimble fingers, where you’ll be guided on how to make a miniature clay cupcake magnet that bears adorable marine motifs.
Additionally, do look out for the Activities Hut that’s up and running throughout the weekend. You’ll be able to further immerse yourself in the festivities when you drop by the face painting booths, or pose for a beach caricature portrait.
For more activities to flex your creative muscles, head over to Marine Terrace where you’ll be able to give the on-site community mural a personal touch. The “Oceans RE-imagined” is a project by Fashion Parade, and they’re inviting visitors to come together to decorate it using various rubbish scraps, to serve as a reminder of humankind’s impact on our beautiful oceans.

If you’ve still got some juice left in the tank, go on a self-guided treasure hunt by HIDDEN that’s inspired by the history of Marine Parade. You’ll receive your clues via WhatsApp, and the hunt will bring you all over the neighbourhood as a Void Deck Cat pings you hints. Who knows, you just might discover your new favourite coffee joint in the area on your adventures.

Those who successfully complete the treasure hunt can potentially walk away with prizes such as discount vouchers to spend at Easty Breezy Bazaar, limited edition merch, and even overnight glamping stays at East Coast Park, courtesy of Glamping City. Visitors can redeem their prizes at the HIDDEN booth that’s at Marine Terrace MRT Exit 1.
Speaking of which, have a gander at Glamping City’s showroom while you’re here; like their name suggests, they specialise in providing luxurious glamping accommodation. They’ve got a couple to show off at the bazaar, such as temporary, roomy abodes that you can prop right up at ECP and an IG-worthy teepee tent set-up, along with games such as frisbee golf to enjoy.
In case you’re looking for something to fill out your weekend with, Easty Breezy Bazaar promises a whole day of fun in the sun. With activities for the entire fam and a host of shops to peruse, head down yourself to see what’s all the comm-ocean about at this bustling seaside-themed get-together.
