SG’s First Automobile-Themed Photobooth At *SCAPE Lets You Take Glambot Pics In A Real Car For Just $10

Dollop Pit Stop photobooth at *SCAPE

Photobooths and studios in Singapore are a dime a dozen, but this one’s a little special. Dollop Pit Stop at *SCAPE in Orchard is SG’s first automobile-themed photobooth that gives the usual snap-and-go concept an upgrade. If that already sounds interesting to you, read on to find out more about what’s in store.

What is Dollop Pit Stop?

Dollop Pit Stop is a photobooth experience created by Dollop Photobooth and dedicated to all things automobile.

When you step inside, you’ll be greeted with visuals that reference pit stops, petrol stations, and showrooms, all reimagined in a fun and highly stylised way. Each booth is designed to make you feel like you have stepped into a different scene, rather than just standing in front of a backdrop.

What to expect at Dollop Pit Stop?

You’ll get to choose from 4 photobooths – it doesn’t sound like a lot, but the decor and props are more than enough to help you switch up your poses, so you never end up with identical photos. Plus, some booths offer unique print designs you won’t find anywhere else.

1. The Glambot Ride

Live out your celebrity moment in The Glambot Ride, but instead of the red carpet, you’ll get to crush it in a car. You can even peek out the sunroof for a quirky pose with your friends.

At the end of the session, you’ll get your photos printed on metallic photostrips that you can either take home or cut out for your own DIY driver’s license keychain. Simply approach a staff member for assistance so you can get your hands on the accessories.

FYI, a glambot is a robotic camera system that moves quickly while capturing your photos in slow-mo. So to prevent unnecessary unglams in your photos, prepare your pose beforehand because the camera will be moving at lightning speed.

2. Mini-Mart Booth

If you’ve ever felt too paiseh snapping cute photos at an actual convenience store, the Mini-Mart Booth lets you do so in peace. This colourful setup makes it easy to strike playful poses, especially with friends.

Even better, there’s a whole stash of props to choose from, like snacks, vegetables and mini shopping carts. You can also select photostrip designs inspired by food packaging, which ties in perfectly with the convenience store theme.

3. Neon Petrol Station

This retro-futuristic Neon Petrol Station could make you look like an F1 driver with the right fits. The lights above the photobooth are colour-changing, so every shot looks like a different vibe.

You get props like traffic cones and mini cars to pose with, and your photos come in transparent photostrips inspired by the Hot Wheels packaging design and Grand Theft Auto loading screens.

4. The Showroom

For all creators out there, The Showroom photobooth is for you – its simple yet interchangeable backdrops let you snap photos for any occasion.

Pro tip: Flash your *SCAPE-exclusive photostrips from this particular photobooth at participating *SCAPE stores to redeem discounts and perks.

Drop by Dollop Pit Stop with your friends

Each session is priced at $10 for 2 photostrips or 1 large 4R print. It’s also worth noting that Dollop Pit Stop is a permanent photobooth, so you don’t have to rush to catch it before it disappears.
