Best known for her hit singles “Jar of Hearts” and “A Thousand Years”, Christina Perri is gracing our shores with The Head or Heart Tour. Following the success of the singer’s first album, Lovestrong, Perri spent two months writing and demoing on her own followed by collaborations with nearly 30 co-writers.
This led to the birth of her second album, Head or Heart, which exposes the conflict between what the head knows and what the heart truly wants. We’ve all been there before – and Perri, in all her authenticity, delivers her songs with such poignance that it has managed to capture our hearts.
Perri is deeply involved with charity To Write Love On Her Arms, which helps people dealing with suicidal thoughts, and visits children’s hospitals to spend time with kids grappling with depression.
This year, Midas Promotions is proud to present Christina Perri at The Coliseum, Hard Rock Hotel Singapore, Resorts World Sentosa, with support act Gentle Bones.
The set opens with “Trust”, symbolic of the central theme the album revolves round. Hit singles such as “Human”, “Burning Gold” and “The Words” are sprinkled in between tracks, and the set ends with the strong and affirming “I Believe” which Perri wrote for an event thrown by charity To Write Love On Her Arms. Fans can also expect Perri to belt out hits from her first album.
