The Pokémon hype isn’t dying down anytime soon, especially with the beloved franchise celebrating its 30th anniversary this year. And to mark the occasion, Changi Airport and Jewel Changi Airport have teamed up with Pokémon for PokéXciting!, a special Asia tour running from now till 3rd January 2027.
We got a sneak peek of the festivities, and there’s a lot to get excited about, from fun photo spots to interactive activations. But if you’re short on time, we’ve rounded up the must-see and must-do highlights that Pokémon fans won’t want to miss.
We’re not kidding when we say it’s a Pokémon fan’s dream come true. PokéXciting! Has transformed Changi Airport and Jewel into an immersive Pokémon-themed world, with activities to keep fans of all ages entertained.
You can take part in a Pokémon quiz rally to redeem a token, catch Pokémon parades, and meet Pikachu in person. There’s also the chance to browse exclusive Pokémon merchandise and snap IG-worthy photos at the various themed photo spots. We’ll get into the details below.
Making its Asia debut, this highly anticipated PokéXciting First Partner Pokémon Parade brings together all 27 first partner Pokémon from the 9 generations of the video game series, alongside 2 Pikachu.
That’s 29 adorable characters in total, including fan-favourites like Charmander and Squirtle, all coming together for a lively parade at Jewel’s Forest Valley on 7th and 8th November 2026, with 2 sessions daily at 3pm and 6pm.
We could barely contain our excitement seeing all the characters in person! Their costumes look just like the real deal, and watching them dance, sway, wave, and interact with the crowd was enough to make any Pokémon fan squeal.
As if that wasn’t cute enough, the characters also lined up together at the end of the parade, giving everyone a chance to snap a group photo of all of them.
Admission to the parade is free, but take note that you’ll need to register onsite before entering. Wristbands will be issued 2 hours before each showtime, and entry is on a first-come, first-served basis. If you’re hoping to catch these adorable creatures in action, we’d recommend heading down early.
Don’t fret even if you didn’t manage to snag a slot to the parade. To fill up your camera roll, you can still make a beeline for Jewel’s Forest Valley, where over 30 Pokémon-themed installations are scattered across the space. These are split into 4 themed zones: the Eevee Evolutions Zone, Snorlax Zone, Mewtwo Zone, and Pikachu Zone.
We spotted a Snorlax lounging about, looking every bit as unbothered as the sleepy Pokémon usually does. But one of the highlights here is the larger-than-life Pikachu installation, which makes for an adorable photo op.
Make sure to also keep your eyes peeled as you explore Changi Airport’s terminals and Jewel, where you’ll find Pokémon-themed decorations and photo spots tucked away at various corners.
For starters, head to Level 2 of Jewel, near Wilson and PS.Cafe, where we spotted 2 photo opportunities. One features Charizard’s wings and fiery breath as a backdrop, complete with a mini Charmander by its side for you to pose with. The other showcases Ho-Oh’s majestic wings.
Over at Terminal 3 (T3) Departure Hall, remember to look up, where you’ll spot a banner featuring 3 Pikachus striking cute poses.
Meanwhile, along the check-in counters, look out for Pokémon popping up in groups of 3. Each section features a different trio of characters, so see how many familiar faces you can spot.

There are also Pokémon-themed horticultural displays scattered across all 4 Changi Airport terminals. So if you have some time to spare before your flight, make it a Pokémon hunt and try to track them all down.
Think you know all things Pokémon? Put your knowledge to the test with the Pokémon TCG Quiz Rally, happening across Jewel from now till 3rd January 2027. Make your way from Basement 1 to Level 5, where you’ll find TCG displays accompanied by a question board.
Complete the quiz, and you’ll get to redeem a Pokémon 30th Anniversary postcard as a keepsake to bring home.
To participate, collect your Quiz Rally card and redeem your prize at the Redemption Counter at B1 Atrium, between Birkenstock and ZARA. The counter is open daily from 11am to 10pm, with the last redemption at 9.30pm.
Or head to the Pokémon Experience Lounge, where you can try out free-to-play video games and Pokémon TCG till 3rd January 2027.
There are a couple of games to check out, including Pokémon Pokopia and Pokémon Champions. If you’re new to Pokémon TCG, crew members onsite will guide you through a tutorial, so you can learn how to play.
Complete each station to walk away with a Pokémon Pokopia sticker sheet, a Mega Evolution TCG pack, or a coupon to redeem in-game rewards for Pokémon Champions.
Admission to the Pokémon Experience Lounge is free, but it’s highly recommended to book your slot in advance via the Changi App (App Store | Google Play), as spaces are limited. You’ll find the lounge at T3 Departure Hall, near Check-in Row 11, and it’s open daily from 12pm to 9pm.
If Pikachu isn’t your favourite Pokémon character, just wait till you see it busting some moves. The PokéXciting! Special Night Show is a multi-sensory performance featuring Pikachu dancing to EDM beats, accompanied by lights and energetic dancers who’ll get the crowd hyped up. We caught a preview, and the whole performance was so electrifying that we wanted to dance along too.
This special show will take place on 7th and 8th December 2026, with 2 sessions daily at 4.30pm and 7.30pm. Head to T3 Departure Hall, in front of Departure Immigration, to catch the action.
Admission is free, but each session has limited capacity, with entry on a first-come, first-served basis. You’ll need to register onsite to secure your spot. The queue opens 60 minutes before each session, and wristbands will be issued at the queue area.
We also got to say hello to Squirtle, Charmander, Bulbasaur, and Pikachu during our visit, and the child in us was absolutely thrilled!
The best part is that the Meet & Greet sessions with Pokémon characters are free, although you’ll need to register on-site as each session has limited capacity. The queue opens 30 minutes before each session, so be sure to arrive early if you don’t want to miss your chance.

Bring your little Pokémon fans along, as there’ll be a lineup of free activities at ST3PS at T3 Basement 2 on 7th and 8th November 2026. They can catch Pokémon animations throughout the day from 10am to 10pm, so even the youngins will be entertained.
There’ll also be kids’ activity booths at the T3 Basement 2 Playground area, running from 12pm to 8pm on both days. Kids can get creative with free colouring activities and even walk away with complimentary Pokémon stickers after completing selected activities. Other prizes will be revealed on-site and are available while stocks last.
Pokémon fans who love collecting merch aren’t left out either. A limited-edition PokéXciting! Pikachu Bag Charm, featuring the iconic character in a cute blue costume, will be available exclusively at Pokémon Center Singapore on 7th and 8th November 2026.
Take note that quantities are limited, and the bag charm will only be available while stocks last. Future restock dates have yet to be confirmed, so if you’re hoping to snag one, check Pokémon Singapore’s Instagram post for more details on how to enter the store on these 2 dates.
Don’t forget to head to the Official Pokémon Pop-Up Stores across Changi Airport to browse special Pokémon 30th Anniversary merchandise. You’ll find them at T3 Basement 2 and Level 2, T2 Level 2, and T4 Level 2.
During our visit, we spotted Pokémon-themed T-shirts (from $20), as well as collectibles like the Pokémon Pyokopunyu ($25.90), a press-and-pop toy that’s fun to fiddle with.
There’s also a customisation corner where you can create your own personalised keepsake. Choose a name plate (from $10), then jazz it up with a selection of Pokémon charms to make it your own.
Psst, here’s a little secret: We also spotted Pokémon TCG booster packs for sale at the pop-up stores, so head down ASAP before the scalpers beat you to it!
Pro tip: There are photo spots within the pop-up stores too – they’re worth a quick stop for some cute Pokémon snaps.
Those looking to bring home some exclusive Pokémon goodies must spend a minimum of $60 in a single receipt to purchase limited-edition Pokémon premiums available only at Changi Airport and Jewel. The qualifying spend applies to purchases at participating outlets across Changi Airport’s public and transit areas, Jewel, as well as iShopChangi.
There’s quite a bit to choose from, depending on what you’re after. Keep cosy on your travels with the travel blanket with bag ($9.90), or stay hydrated with the insulated tumbler ($18.90).
Plushie collectors can also pick between a Pikachu or Eevee 30th Anniversary plushie ($18.90), while those planning their next getaway can get the cabin-sized luggage ($52.90) or check-in luggage ($74.90) to pack their holiday essentials.
With the same qualifying spend of $60, you can also purchase a Pokémon cap ($12.90) or Poké Ball Bag ($12.90) – both items come with 1 character charm.
