Pokémon fans, rejoice! This December is looking extra exciting, as you’ll soon have another reason to flock to McDonald’s. The fast food chain is bringing its limited-time Pokémon Happy Meals to Singapore, giving local fans a chance to get their hands on some Pokémon collectibles.

Beyond the burger, side, and drink, the toy that comes with the Happy Meal is often the biggest draw. But this time, it could be an even bigger hit than usual. Pokémon has maintained a massive global following for decades, and recent years have shown that the franchise still has an incredible chokehold on fans.
So forget the usual red box with the golden arches. McDonald’s is giving its iconic Happy Meal packaging a Pokémon makeover, with 3 different box designs featuring fan favourites Pikachu, Umbreon, and Torchic.

Inside each Happy Meal, you’ll find 1 of 15 collectible mini box charms, featuring adorable designs modelled after Pokémon such as Pikachu, Eevee, Bulbasaur, Popplio, Rowlet, and Sprigatito, among other familiar faces.

But these mini boxes aren’t just meant to sit on your shelf. They can also be converted into adorable charms, so you can take your favourite Pokémon everywhere by clipping them onto your backpack or using them as keychains.
And if the mini box toys aren’t enough to get collectors excited, there’s more. Each Happy Meal also comes with 2 Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG) cards, adding to the collecting frenzy that has swept the world in recent years. With 15 cards to collect in total, including 7 foil variants, there’s plenty to hunt down.

According to an official announcement by McDonald’s, the Pokémon Happy Meal will be rolling out in different countries at different times, and the rest of us in Singapore can get our hands on it in December 2026.
An exact launch date has yet to be confirmed, so we recommend you keep a close eye on McDonald’s Singapore’s Instagram page so you don’t miss out!
We can already imagine queues snaking around McDonald’s outlets as Pokémon fans and collectors descend on their nearest branches to snag these limited-edition goodies. Now, the only question is how many Happy Meals it’ll take before you finally catch ’em all!
