Cedele celebrates Father’s Day with the Caramel Sea Salt Tiramisu Cake

Father’s Day from Cedele

Any man can be a father, but it takes someone special to be a Dad.

It is said that the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach, and with Father’s Day just around the corner, Cedele has introduced a sweet affair to celebrate the event.

It’s always nice to have some father-child bonding time while celebrating the moment with a cake.

Introducing the Caramel Sea salt Tiramisu Cake

To celebrate Father’s Day, Cedele has come up with a new creation: the Caramel Sea salt Tiramisu Cake.

This Father’s Day specialty features a moist Expresso & Kahlua-laced cake, Walnuts and smooth Mascarpone Cheese. To top it off, this ensemble is frosted with Meringue and Dark Chocolate bits.

This combination may sound a little strange and over-the-top, and I cannot deny that this is a bold experiment. But if this is an experiment, Cedele has succeeded in creating a lovely new flavour.

This cake will satisfy those of you with a sweet tooth. Although it belongs to the sweeter end, it is adequately sweet without being overwhelming – we didn’t get sick of it despite having a few slices each. Also, I’m not a big fan of tiramisu, but I thought the cake was pretty pleasant.

Prices and other information

The Caramel Sea salt Tiramisu Cake is available in all Cedele stores from 31st May – 29th June. Whole cakes retail at $55 and slices are available at $7 each.

The locations of Cedele’s outlets can be found here.
