There’s nothing like a carnival coming to town that brings that joyful feeling of being a kid again. No matter your age, you can’t deny the whimsy of giant colourful inflatables and amusing games that are the signature of any carnival.
Happening over the weekend of 2nd-3rd September 2022, Carnival By The Bay brings you all that plus food booths and free movie screenings at The Lawn @ Marina Bay.

Doors to the carnival open from 5pm onwards on both days, so head down early to chope your picnic spot. Ideal for families and romantic date nights, light snacks from a variety of food booths are available at the carnival grounds.
While you are encouraged to bring your own picnic mats and bean bags, the organisers will be providing a limited number of outdoor chairs and mats on a first come first serve basis.
Here’s the fun part – there’ll be interactive arcade games and inflatables for the young ones. Of course, you can expect lots of cool prizes to be won, so go with your group of friends and compete to see who brings home the most collectibles.
Entry to the carnival is completely free but you’ll have to purchase coupons to use at the food and game booths. As this is a cashless event, PayNow will be accepted as one of the modes of payment.

The free outdoor movie screenings start after sunset at 7.30pm and no pre-booking is required. Just show up at The Lawn and soak in the views of the iconic Marina Bay landscape, an ideal backdrop for that perfect IG shot.
While you are snacking away and enjoying the company of family and friends, 2 Disney films will be providing the entertainment for the evening.
Can you smell what The Rock is cooking? Dwayne Johnson starrer Jungle Cruise will be screening on 2nd September. Fans of The Rock can revel in this adventure film that also stars Emily Blunt. The duo go on a quest to seek an ancient tree with supposed magical healing abilities.
If you love musicals, this one’s a fan favourite. On 3rd September, award-winning The Greatest Showman will be screening at Carnival By The Bay. Powerhouse talents Hugh Jackman, Zac Efron, and Zendaya all get to show off their singing and acting chops in this musical drama about show business.
In the case of wet weather, the movies will be screened just across The Lawn at Marina One’s Auditorium Hall – located on Level 3 of the West Tower – instead.
Good news for those who are Marina Bay Alliance office tenants: show your staff pass to redeem an exclusive gift and popcorn worth $25.
Whether you’re looking to spend the weekend watching Disney films for free or simply having some fun with family and friends, mark your calendars for Carnival By The Bay.
