First-Ever Calbee Pop-Up In SG Has Cute Photo Ops, Exclusive Merch & A Snack-Themed Personality Test

Calbee pop-up at Plaza Singapura

You’ve probably crunched your way through a bag of Calbee Hot & Spicy potato chips at some point in your life. Now, the iconic snack brand is bringing the fun offline with a Calbee-themed experience.

From now till 17th August 2025, head down to Plaza Singapura to check out the first-ever Calbee pop-up in Singapore that’s made for fans of all ages.

What to expect at the Calbee pop-up?

Snack grab challenge

If you’ve ever dreamt of going wild in a snack aisle at the supermarket, this is gonna be your moment. The Calbee Snack Grab challenge gives you 1 minute to grab as many snacks as you can – the only catch is they must all fit into a bag that you’ll purchase for $25.

Sounds simple, but it’s all about strategy and speed. Some snack pros have managed to squeeze over 20 packets into a single bag, which more than covers the price.

Cute photo ops

Head to the Calbee Express photo zone next – it’s a train-themed set-up complete with dreamy cherry blossom trees in the background, so you can pretend you’re off on a springtime adventure in Japan.

And while you’re there, don’t forget to give the cute and chonky potato plushie a big hug.

Exclusive merchandise for purchase

There’s also the Calbee Mart, which lets you shop for exclusive merch you won’t find anywhere else. Think of it as your reward for being a loyal snack fan.

Pick up a Calbee tote bag for $14.90 – perfect for lugging home your next snack haul – or snag the adorable Jagabee potato plushie for just $12.90.

Find out what snack you are with a personality test

Scan the QR code at the pop-up to take a quick 5-question personality test that’ll tell you which Calbee snack matches your vibe.

But if you can’t wait till you’re there, try it out online first.

Make a wish

Before you leave, don’t miss your chance to manifest your dream snack at the Calbee Wishing Board. Simply scan a QR code to submit a wish or message, which will then appear on the digital board for all to see. Use it to mention your fave chip flavour or a wacky new creation you’ve always wanted to try – this is your moment to put it out into the universe.

Potato chips dipped in chocolate, like the ones from ROYCE’ Chocolate, anyone? But wallet-friendly, please. My taste buds are bougie, but my bank account says otherwise.

Head down to the Calbee pop-up at Plaza Singapura before it’s gone for good

It’s not every day you get to live out your snack fantasies IRL, so drop by before it ends. Fair warning: you might leave with 20 packs of chips and a new plushie you didn’t know you needed.

Admission: Free
