Ever since Shake Shack set food on Singapore’s shores at Jewel Changi Airport, their queues have been endless for months on end. This only shows just how many burger lovers there are out there.
With the local burger scene being shaken up – you may want to keep a lookout for alternative eateries to sort your cravings. If you’re one of those people who gets hangry if you have to wait too long for food, here are 5 solid burger joints to head for to satisfy your meaty cravings:
It’s no secret that German food is easy bait for meat lovers – after all, it largely comprises sausages, schnitzels and huge chunks of meat. And the juicy, cheese-oozing German hamburgers burgers at Hans Im Gluck are just as promising.
They’ve even got a speciality dish that’s named after the restaurant: The Hans Im Gluck beef burger ($17), which features a chunky grass-fed beef patty with shavings of Parmesan cheese and Parma ham that’s piled between two multigrain buns.
Lettuce, rocket leaves, and juicy sun-ripened tomatoes are also thrown in to give your burger that extra ooze of sweetness and crunch with every bite.
