We Singaporeans have a fixed itinerary during our trips to JB, and it usually includes ending the night with a soothing massage. Those who are travelling a little further to KL can now get them at Billion Onsen & Aesthetics. Not only does it have massage services, this 24-hour spa club in central KL also has onsen baths and saunas for the ultimate relaxing night.
The current exchange rate is RM3.28=~S$1 as of 21st October 2024.
Billion Onsen & Aesthetics is a 24-hour spa and health club in KL. It offers aesthetic treatments and massages, as well as onsen baths and sauna rooms. To get there, take a 1-hour direct flight from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur with airlines like Scoot, Jetstar, and AirAsia. It is then a 47-minute drive from KL International Airport.
Alternatively, you can take a bus from Singapore to KL. One such bus service is KKKL Travel & Tours, which leaves from various locations straight to KL Sentral. A one-way ticket starts from S$38/pax. The bus ride takes 5-6 hours, and the spa is another 16-minute drive away.
If you want to shop nearby, the Suria KLCC and Intermark Mall are both a 3-minute drive away. For those planning to stay around the area, check out the ibis Kuala Lumpur City Centre or Corus Hotel for rooms below $100/night.
You can’t visit Billion Onsen & Aesthetics without getting a massage. So lay down, relax, and let the masseurs do the work. There are 8 kinds to choose from, each using traditional techniques to target different body needs.
Opt for the Billion Signature Massage for a full-body experience. For RM300/hour, it incorporates both dry and oil techniques to relieve muscle tensions. Or try the Hot Stone Massage (RM350/90 minutes), which uses heat to improve blood circulation.
A little pampering of the skin never hurt anyone, and you can do so with either the Hydro Facial (RM488/hour) or Oxy-Bright Facial (RM688/hour).
It doesn’t just stop at the basics; aesthetic treatments are also available if you’re looking for services beyond facials. There’s Microneedling (RM888), which helps with skin brightening and hydration.
The Eye Treatment (RM500) may be something to consider if you’re struggling with dark circles or sagging around the eye area.
Not just your regular hot spring baths, the onsens at Billon Onsen & Aesthetics are infused with natural herbs. Choose from 4 pools: Herbal Bath, Silk Bath, Salt Bath, or Cold Plunge.
Light installations on the ceilings mimic a star-lit night sky and there’s even a projector screen where you can play your favourite shows while relaxing.
The sauna room is next to the baths, and you can hop right in for a quick sweat sesh. Afterwards, you can perform cold and hot therapy by dipping into the cold bath. For the uninitiated, the contrasting temperatures stimulate blood flow and improve circulation.
You can access the onsens and sauna at RM180 for 75 minutes.
Locker rooms are available where you can keep your barangs while enjoying your time at the spa. Don’t worry if you have dinner plans afterwards; there are also well-equipped shower amenities and vanities to freshen up.
Head over to the Sky Garden for a short rest before you leave. The lounge is lit with warm yellow lighting and minimal wood furniture, matching the zen vibes you’ll feel after your massages.
Whether you’re heading in during the afternoons or a spontaneous session after supper, you bet it’ll leave you feeling refreshed and satisfied. No more jampacking your schedules to make it in time for your late-night massages.
