Beerfest Asia is back, and it’s bigger and better than ever. Happening from 30th August – 2nd September 2018, the Beerfest Asia 2018 X Edition brings you an epic 4-day festival to celebrate all things beer with live performances, a beer run, and a whole lot of fringe activities for the entire family.

Here’s a rundown of some of the highlights to add to your festival game plan:

Go beyond your usual “safe bet” order and treat your palate to a whole new world of hops and suds. From Germany and Lithuania to Korea and India, take your beer appreciation global with over 600 varieties of local and international brews available for your tasting pleasure.

 

Live tribute bands, DJs and bar food

Where there’s beer, there’s bound to be music and bar food. Kick back to the beat of rock classics with tribute bands from the likes of Killer Queen (Queen), The Achtung Baby (U2) and Viva Coldplay (Coldplay) alongside over 30 up and coming local bands, DJ acts and stand-up comedians.

To add on to their 4 tents of booze and music, you’ll also find a mishmash of your favourite bar games such as e-darts, futuristic beer pong and more.

Food-wise, you can find everything from Char’s slow-roasted pork belly and mentaiko quail eggs to Jap skewers from Shiso and local favourites from No Signboard. You’ll even find delicate bites of uni served up by Uni Gallery.

Beer might be the perfect beverage for the laid back life, but with so much to see, taste and do at Beerfest Asia this year, you’ll easily find something to pique your interest for every minute you’re there.

Archipelago’s Birthday Beer – White IPA that’s a fruity and spicy version of America IPA

In special celebration of their 10th anniversary, Beerfest Asia has teamed up with – breweries around the globe to create limited edition “Birthday Beers” which will be served exclusively at the event. There’ll even be free beer workshops conducted by brewers for you to up your appreciation for craft beer – spaces are limited so reserve your spot on their website.

Just because there’s alcohol involved doesn’t mean parents with younglings need to pull the brakes on having a good time. On Sunday, 2nd September (2PM-11PM), Beerfest is set to make a 180-degree transformation into a family-friendly carnival complete with carnival games and inflatable bouncers for those who are underage.

Tickets go at $20 (Thu/Sun) and $25 (Fri/Sat) for a 1-day Advance Pass which includes 1 free welcome beer and can be purchased up till the 29th of August. Those heading down with their drinking kakis can also purchase the Group of 4 Pass for $75 (Fri/Sat, U.P. $100) – topped off with a free welcome beer for each person.
