Bedok Mall has been pretty happening as of late, having just organised Brews & Beats 2023 in October. In line with the ongoing festive season, it now plays host to yet another event, the Bedok Mall Forest Frenzy Carnival.
Set to run from now till 2nd January 2024, this one is kid-friendly and will be held at the mall’s Basement 2 Atrium. While you have a go at old-school carnival games, the little ones can bounce around the bouncy castle and ride horses on the dreamy carousel.
Parents with kids can bring them to the mall for fun activities such as the Battle Tank Ride, where they can have a ball of time as they spin around.
There’s also the Bamboo Forest Bouncer if jumping around is more up Junior’s alley.
Teens and older kids can also try their hand at the various carnival games, where you stand to bring home cute plushies. Look forward to booths offering games such as goblet toss and can toss where you test your aiming skills.
Plus, we’ve heard that a Hook A Bag station will also make an appearance. Remember that game as a kid when you used a short fishing rod to “catch” floating toy ducks by their magnetic beaks? This game is similar but you will have to catch a bag with prizes instead of ducks.
All you have to do is spend $80 in a single receipt and upload it on the CapitaStar app (App Store | Google Play). Following that, a play pass will be credited directly into your app, which enables you to have a go on any game or ride, except Hook A Bag.
Alternatively, pay-to-play options also exist where each game or ride will set you back $6. Or you could get yourself a game card for $25 which gets you 5 play credits, meaning each activity will then only cost $5.

That’s not all. Those who qualify for the play pass will also receive discount vouchers at the carnival booths. These can be redeemed at the various tenants around the mall including Juewei for 20% off*; iORA for $5 off*; and The Face Shop for $10 off*.

Dessert lovers will be delighted to know that there’s also a voucher for Avocadoria where you can get 1 free Avocado Dream Ice Cream* with the purchase of 2 Avocado Shakes or Lover Ice Cream. While over at Cut Butchery, the voucher offers buy-1-get-1 free* for their hormone-free chicken and beef steak.
Anyone looking for beauty services, may be able to get their hands on vouchers for $50 off* at Sothys Premium Salon; 15% off* at JasonSally Hairdressers; and a first trial scalp repair treatment at PHS Hairscience at just $38*.
