Win a trip to Hong Kong while doing your part for charity! This article takes a look behind the scenes of the upcoming Bare Your Sole fundraiser Walk happening on 1st June 2013. If you missed part 1 of our Habitat for Humanity feature do check it out here. It raises awareness for a very important issue, the fact that there are 35,000 elderly living in Singapore alone today who may be disabled, abandoned or need some form of help to get day by day. This number is projected to increase to 83,000 in 2030. Project homeworks is an initiative organised by Habitat for Humanity to help these elderly. And the Bare Your Sole Walk is a fundraiser for this project.
To get a better understanding of the project, we talked to some key figures behind the Bare Your Sole event.
As a way to encourage the team that raises the most money, Barclays have put together a small competition where the winning team will receive tickets to travel to the Barclays Asia Trophy in Hong Kong – a tournament that features premiership teams Sunderland, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City!
We think this is a fantastic initiative to contribute to a great cause. We hope to see you there!
