Be it a first date or job interview, it’s always important to leave a good impression. That said, keeping yourself groomed is something you should do even on a regular basis. As do manners maketh man, so does kempt hair. While some barbers out there charge $70 or more per haircut or beard shave, we’ve compiled a list of gentlemen’s barbers in Singapore that charge $45 and below.
You may have been scrimping with $10 haircuts, but it is fair to splurge occasionally and spoil yourself with a pampering gentlemen’s barbershop experience. These barbers will keep you looking suave and dapper – and maybe even to help you look more like a towkay than your boss.

Most barbershops focus on serving men by offering specialised services like beard styling, shaving, and gentlemen’s haircuts. Meanwhile, hair salons offer a wider range of services that you may not find at a barbershop including colouring, extensions, and highlights. Salons are also viewed as more gender-neutral as they cater to both demographics. However, some barbers in Singapore like DeepCuts and LA Barbershop provide women’s haircuts too.

Proud representatives of the Hypebeast tribe would want to make a trip down to Acidic Chop Shop. The barbershop has an underground street vibe, with grey brick walls and even a Supreme logo board with red drawers to match.
While the Hypebeast fashion trend is often associated with softer Korean hairstyles, this barbershop’s delivery of the classy slick back undercut is uncompromised. Each cut also comes with a wash, and prices start from $15 for an apprentice haircut to $50 for a haircut from the head barber.
P.S. You can get a discount on your haircut if you’re a first-time customer ($40, U.P. $45). And if you’re just in need of a trim, come fortnightly to enjoy a rate of $37/cut.

Situated in a shophouse with vintage American-inspired decor, DeepCuts offers affordable haircuts with an expensive feel. A number of their barbers received their training at The Old-School Barber Academy by Schorem in Rotterdam – said to be the best barbershop cum academy in the Netherlands.
Their specialty lies within the field of classic pompadours, modern pompadours, and quiffs, with most customers rocking these styles. Haircuts are priced from $45 for an hour-long session, up to $65 for a haircut with the DeepCuts founder Dr. Faz. Consultation and styling are included for every haircut, and women are also welcome!
For those who are rocking a full beard, DeepCuts also offers hot towel shaves ($40) and full beard sculpting services ($30) to keep your manly chin mane neat and tidy.

Limpeh Barbershop brings you back to the good ol’ days with a colour scheme that’s inspired by those blue, white, and red striped barber poles that we used to frequently come across in HDB estates. It’s also furnished with old-school furniture such as rustic metal drawers and cabinets, leather seats, and retro ceiling lamps.
Haircuts at Limpeh Barbershop start from $20 for tertiary education students – that includes JC, polytechnic, ITE, and university students – as well as NSFs, while everyone else can get trimmed for $30. If you’re looking for a more thorough grooming, they’ve got a $40 promo which includes a haircut with consultation, hair wash, and an eyebrow trim.

Atatcutz might look a little small, with 4 hairstyling stations squeezed in a 2×2 configuration, but it’s still worth the trip for their variety of services that are easy on the wallet. These include basic cuts ($30), kids’ haircuts ($28), fades ($35), and a beard trim/clean shave & shape-up package ($20).

The black brick walls and wooden floor panels give it a classy vibe, but the best part? They operate till 11pm daily. This makes things convenient for those who often have to work late or need a last-minute clean-up for an important meeting the next morning. They’re also conveniently located at Simpang Bedok, so you can grab a hearty meal right after your appointment.
