To everyone but true Astons connoisseurs, the fact that there’s anything other than the standard menu may be a shocker – you mean they sell anything other than meat + 2 sides? At The Centrepoint and Marina Square, find a cool all-you-can-eat salad bar, reminiscent of Sizzlers from the old days.

Prices are super-affordable here. From just $15.90/pax on weekdays, their 60-minute express lunch comes with a main course, salad buffet, free flow drinks and ice cream. Insane, considering an average Astons mains can cost about a ten bucks on its own.

The “salad buffet” isn’t limited to greens either. Other than homemade salad and fresh vegetables, the spread features soup, bread, cheese, hot and cold side dishes, fruits and desserts as well as beverages.
At the Centrepoint outlet, rosti, tortilla chips and pumpkin soup were even spotted among the rows of free-flow dishes.

No worries if you miss the lunchtime deal. For nine-to-five salarymen and women, the buffet selection is available through opening hours, from a still-affordable $21.90/adult. Top up to get a serving of main course like Chargrilled Chicken (+$3.90) and Sirloin Steak (+$10.90) to go with the spread. Kids, meanwhile, can enjoy a main course with the buffet from just $10.90.
While the buffet has been around for a few years, it has stayed pretty much under the radar the whole time. Topped with the recent ‘Rona reign, the low-key haunt has been pretty much forgotten about by most. Now that you know it’s there, enjoy filling your bellies to the brim without feeling the pinch.
