5 Artsy Activities In Singapore For Non-Basic Dates In 2018

Date ideas for artsy couples

Next-level date ideas are all the rage these days from indulging in edible bouquets to dinners on luxury yachts. While those activities defo check a box on the #couplegoals list, sometimes the best kind of dates are ones with a bit more thought behind them.

An easy hack to make sure your dates go beyond the basic movie-and-dinner combo: these artsy activities. You don’t have to chiong through them on 14th February itself, either, as these 5 date ideas extend well beyond V-Day so there’ll be more opportunities to feel the love.

1. Learn how to nail that hypebeast shot at FREE photography workshops

For the guys out there, the path to being the perfect IG-boyfriend is paved with good intentions but mostly cmi shots. Well, spamming Meitu XiuXiu on your pics will now be a thing of the past with free photography workshops and walks.

There’ll be 4 workshops, each focusing on different aspects of photography like:

  • Basics of Photography
  • Outdoor Photography with Smartphone Cameras
  • Street-style Photography
  • Hypebeast Photography

Master all techniques and incorporate some of that #aesthetic the next time you’re uploading a pic of date night.

2. Eat dishes crafted from writers’ stories

To take a leaf from Shakespeare, “If Food Be The Love Of Words, eat on.” The pop-up literary-themed dining experience showcases dishes that are based on writers’ stories – we’re envisioning Dr. Seuss’ Green Eggs and Ham brought to life. Yum.

Not exactly green eggs and ham, but it’s a lot more appetising.

A page-turner in your love life, this novel concept lets you eat never-before-seen dishes, and love your dinner as you fill your mind with poetry.

*Note that the kitchen does not use pork, lard, or alcohol in cooking. Only halal meat products are used.
