Anytime Fitness Battle of the Purple Champions Singapore 2026
Fitness isn’t just about having a six-pack; it’s about moving with strength and confidence in your everyday life, from being able to carry a heavy suitcase at the airport with ease, or scaling a flight of stairs without breaking a sweat. Anytime Fitness’ Battle of the Purple Champions (BOPC) takes that philosophy and turns it into a competition built on real-world movements that anyone can train for.
BOPC is Anytime Fitness’s first festival in Singapore, following 2 successful editions in the Philippines. It’ll be held on one day only – 31st January 2026 – at OCBC Square, headlined by a team fitness event. Designed to challenge participants of all levels, you don’t have to be a fitness buff to take part.
Additionally, an exciting on-site festival village will feature games, free snacks, high-energy challenges, and lucky draws, offering a fun way to get into the fitness spirit without the pressure of competition.
The Battle Zone – a 4-person fitness race

Fitness races have become quite the trend worldwide, but you don’t have to be a Physical Asia contender to consider yourself truly fit. The BOPC’s Battle Zone is where a more accessible fitness race will take place, with four race stations inspired by real-life daily functional movement.

For example, there will be a station where participants are tasked to simulate a house moving day, and will have to utilise compound lifts to rearrange furniture.

Another station tasks the team to climb up and down a flight of stairs with kettlebells, just like carrying groceries back home.
Sign-ups are live today, 24th November 2025. If you’re interested in signing up, simply grab 3 of your kakis to form a team. Besides bragging rights, participants will all be given a kit of goodies, including a thermal water bottle, a Comeback Apparel-sponsored T-shirt, and gym bag.

If you’re one of the top three teams, you also win a cash prize. First place bags $4,000, while the first and second runner-ups take home $2,000 and $1,000, respectively.
An interactive fair with free snacks & lucky draws
While the Battle Zone is the main highlight, BOPC also has a family-friendly Purple Village where visitors can eat, play, and shop their way through different vendor booths.

First up, eat your fill of free carnival food, from popcorn to ice cream. Then, burn those calories at a selection of carnival game stations, such as ring toss and horseshoe toss, as well as gachapon machines.

Face painting and caricature drawings are also available to entertain both the young and the young at heart.

For those who aren’t competing in the Battle Zone, you can still have a taste of what the competitors go through with mini challenges that mirror real-life movements. Highlights include testing your quads by trying to hit the most number of bodyweight squats you can, or your arm strength at the longest grocery carry and dead hang stations.
Stand to win prizes for your effort too – these include Anytime Fitness merch and gym trial passes.

If you’re looking to stock up on your fitness essentials or gym wardrobe, you’re in luck, as the Purple Village will sport sales booth from popular brands, from apparel to supplements.

As BOPC is held in celebration of the 150th Anytime Fitness club opening in Singapore, it’s a great opportunity to join the community, especially if you’ve been on the hunt for a gym membership.
All participants and spectators who sign up for an Anytime Fitness membership on the competition day will enter a sure-win lucky draw, with the chance to win exciting prizes, including a 1-year membership, a Nintendo Switch, or the latest iPhone 17.
