Anime conventions in Singapore 2026


Fans of anime, manga, and video games will be delighted to know that there’s no shortage of events which they can look forward to attending this year. To help you keep tabs on what’s on, we’ve compiled a list of upcoming anime conventions in Singapore in 2026 that will make your weeb heart sing.


1. Doujin Market – 9th-10th May 2026


Features 800 anime & manga fan artists & creators


Doujin Market is a convention where creators gather to celebrate their love and passion for pop culture. The market will feature over 800 artists, illustrators, and creators from over 24 countries. This means you’ll be spoiled for choice with all the merch there is to browse – from art prints to keychains, acrylic stands, stickers, and even tote bags.

You can count on merch inspired by famous anime like Howl’s Moving Castle and Jujutsu Kaisen, as well as games like Love in Deepspace and Genshin Impact, which you can buy to display at home. 

Even if you’re not a shopper, Doujin Market has a gaming area where you can test out exclusive demos of upcoming games and meet the game developers. They also have live tabletop games – trading card games, board games, and Pokémon, which you can play with other participants.

P.S. There will be a mini Doujin Market in December 2026, which is a cosier, more intimate convention experience. Announcements regarding the venue and admissions will be made on their Instagram page at a later date.

2. SJ60 Special Day Match – 16th May 2026

Meet your favourite Vtubers on the football field at the SJ60 Special Day Match. This is a special match between Albirex Niigata FC and Young Lions to celebrate 60 years of diplomatic relations between Singapore and Japan.

Hololive Vtubers Sakura Miko, Omaru Polka, Kobo Kanaeru, and Mori Calliope will make appearances on the big screen to liven up the match. Bring along your penlights – you can look forward to original music video screenings, a multilingual challenge segment and an exclusive halftime performance.

Cop some exclusive merch to commemorate the event – you can get acrylic stands ($29), A4 clear files ($8) and special fan jerseys ($99) featuring your oshi. On event day, there’ll even be an offline-exclusive player-worn jersey ($99) with all 4 Vtubers on it.

Don’t get FOMO if you can’t make it to the stadium, as Mori Calliope will be streaming the festivities live on her channel too.

3. THE MUSIC OF SQUARE ENIX – Magic, Memories, and Melodies – 23rd May 2026

If you’ve poured hours into NieR to unlock every single ending, or completed all 76 side quests in Final Fantasy XVI, you would’ve felt how the soundtrack transports you right into the game. THE MUSIC OF SQUARE ENIX – Magic, Memories, and Melodies is coming to Singapore as part of its world tour, so you can experience the charm of these iconic games and their soundtrack in real time.

Be treated to a breathtaking performance as conductor Eric Roth directs the Metropolitan Festival Orchestra and a chorus to play iconic tunes from Square Enix’s collection of games. You’ll also be joined by Yasunori Nishiki and Yoko Shimomura in the audience, the composers behind the featured music.

4. Doki Doki Anime Market – 6th-7th June 2026

Doki Doki Anime Market is known for their artist alley, with hundreds of specially curated booths that include as many anime and video games as possible, with little to no repetition at all. So even if you’re a fan of an underrated anime, there’s a chance that you’ll find something at this market. 

Check out their booth list to see if any of your favourite fan artists, games or shows will be exhibiting, with fan-made merch that will be available for purchase. And if you’re not here to shop, you could end up making friends or finding a new favourite artist to follow.

5. Cos Haven – 6th June 2026


Free studio shoot for cosplayers


Cosplayers, this event is for you. Cos Haven is a one-day event for cosplayers to don their most elaborate costumes. The highlight of the event is the free studio shoot – pose for the camera and show off your fit without worrying about any photobombs.

Anyone looking to improve their cosplay is in luck, as there’ll be cosplay workshops lined up for the event. They’ll also have a small cosplay flea market where you can buy trinkets, merch and secondhand cosplay goods.

6. Hoyofest Singapore – 31st July – 2nd August 2026


Fan art & fan cosplay showcases

Hoyofest is a celebration of Hoyoverse’s hit games – Genshin Impact, Honkai Starrail, and Zenless Zone Zero. The festival aims to honour not just the games, but also the people who’ve supported them. Here, you can meet like-minded fans, make friends, and literally step into the Hoyoverse. 

They’ll have fan cosplay and fan art showcases on their live stage, so dress up as your favourite Hoyoverse character or participate in their art showcase if you’d like to gain recognition for being a hardcore fan.

7. Randamu World – 15th-16th August 2026

Gotta catch’em all? Complete your Pokémon card collection over at Randamu World. Beyond the regular artist alley, there’s also a dedicated sellers and trading zone for Pokémon and other TCGs. Who knows, you might find that last card you need for the perfect competition deck.

8. Anime Festival Asia Singapore – 27th-29th November 2026


One of the biggest anime conventions in Southeast Asia

Anime Festival Asia is a core event for all anime fans, showcasing the latest anime, pop culture, manga, and novels. Every cranny of the convention hall will be crammed with things to do – live performances, meet-and-greets with celebrity cosplayers, and a Creators Hub where you can shop for fan-made or official merch. 

They even have a food street if you’re feeling peckish at the event. If you’re not into shopping, you can bask in the festive atmosphere at their Day stage, which will have talk shows, live performances, and stage appearances from famous anime voice actors.

9. Singapore Comic Con – 5th-6th December 2026

Singapore Comic Con is where fans of comic culture gather. The convention celebrates comics, toys, and gaming – there will be something for everyone, even the normies. Come as a comic book character, or cosplay as your favourite show or game character. SGCC is known for their cosplay competitions, where you can win prizes worth up to $3,000.
