Anime conventions in Singapore 2025


Fans of anime, manga, and video games will be delighted to know that there’s no shortage of events which they can look forward to attending this year. To help you keep tabs on what’s on, we’ve compiled a list of upcoming anime conventions in Singapore in 2025 that will make your weeb heart sing.


1. Doujin Market – 10th-11th May 2025


Features 700 anime & manga fan artists & creators


Doujin Market is a convention where creators gather to celebrate their love and passion for pop culture. The market will feature over 700 artists, illustrators, and creators from over 19 countries. This means you’ll be spoiled for choice with all the merch there is to browse – from art prints to keychains, acrylic stands, stickers, and even tote bags.

You can count on merch inspired by famous anime like Howl’s Moving Castle and Jujutsu Kaisen, as well as games like Love in Deepspace and Genshin Impact, which you can buy to display at home. 

Even if you’re not a shopper, Doujin Market has a gaming area where you can test out exclusive demos of upcoming games and meet the game developers. They also have live tabletop games – trading card games, board games, and Pokémon, which you can play with other participants.

2. Pop-up! Jump Characters Store pop-up event – 10th May-31st August 2025

Fans of Shonen Jump, or iconic manga works like Dragonball, One Piece, Bleach, Naruto, and Demon Slayer, will be excited to learn about the opening of the first-ever Pop-up! Jump Characters store in Singapore. This pop-up will be stocking exclusive merch like limited-edition T-shirts, tote bags, and novelty items. 

The cool part is that new items will be introduced throughout the pop-up period, so there’ll be new things to browse every time you visit. If you’re a Shonen anime fan, don’t miss this pop-up or you’ll feel some serious FOMO when it’s gone.

3. Doki Doki Anime Market – 7th-8th June 2025


Fandom-focused anime convention

Doki Doki Anime Market is known for their artist alley, with more than 500 specially curated booths that include as many anime and video games as possible, with little to no repetition at all. So even if you’re a fan of an underrated anime, there’s a chance that you’ll find something at this market. 

Check out their booth list to see if any of your favourite fan artists, games or shows will be exhibiting, with fan-made merch that will be available for purchase. And if you’re not here to shop, you could end up making friends or finding a new favourite artist to follow.

4. 2025 CosGarden – 15th June 2025


Themed photoshoot spots for cosplayers

Cosplayers, this event is for you. CosGarden is a one-day photoshoot event for cosplayers to don their most elaborate costumes. The highlight of the event is the 3 different backdrops – an outdoor garden, a gazebo, and an indoor tatami room – that cosplayers can pose with to make their pictures pop. 

The event will still be a lot of fun even if you’re not a cosplayer, since there will be activities like live performances and trivia games to participate in. They also have a small artist alley where you can buy trinkets and merch.

5. Hoyofest Singapore – 25th-27th July 2025


Fan art & fan cosplay showcases

Hoyofest is a celebration of Hoyoverse’s hit games – Genshin Impact, Honkai Starrail, and Zenless Zone Zero. The festival aims to honour not just the games, but also the people who’ve supported them. Here, you can meet like-minded fans, make friends, and literally step into the Hoyoverse. 

They’ll have fan cosplay and fan art showcases on their live stage, so dress up as your favourite Hoyoverse character or participate in their art showcase if you’d like to gain recognition for being a hardcore fan.

6. Aubade by Re:String Guitar Ensemble – 18th September 2025


Listen to classical takes of anime & J-pop hits

Re:String Guitar Ensemble presents the 2nd edition of their concert series, Aubade. The ensemble will be playing a repertoire of Japanese pop and anime hits, arranged specifically for the niibori guitars that they play. 

Embark on a musical journey that showcases both the versatility of their instruments as you traverse the vivid worlds of Chainsaw Man and One Piece, before winding down with Ghibli soundtracks to end your night.

7. Asia Comics Expo – 11th-12th October 2025


Anime art showcase for budding artists

Asia Comics Expo is one of the key events of the year for comic art fans, now in its 4th edition. The event is a huge artist showcase that brings together budding and established anime artists, where they can find inspiration, shop art pieces and meet like-minded fans.

Previous events were headlined by famous manga artists like Katsuya Terada and Kazumasa Uchio, who carried out live drawing sessions, meet-and-greets, and autograph slots for fans.

Look forward to announcements about who’ll headline the 4th volume.

8. Anime Festival Asia Singapore – 28th-30th November 2025


One of the biggest anime conventions in Southeast Asia

Anime Festival Asia is a core event for all anime fans, showcasing the latest anime, pop culture, manga, and novels. Every cranny of the convention hall will be crammed with things to do – live performances, meet-and-greets with celebrity cosplayers, and a Creators Hub where you can shop for fan-made or official merch. 

They even have a food street if you’re feeling peckish at the event. If you’re not into shopping, you can bask in the festive atmosphere at their Day stage, which will have talk shows, live performances, and stage appearances from famous anime voice actors.

9. Singapore Comic Con – 6th-7th December


Curated booths with the best of comics, toys & gaming content

Singapore Comic Con is where fans of comic culture gather. The convention celebrates comics, toys, and gaming – there will be something for everyone, even the normies. Come as a comic book character, or cosplay as your favourite show or game character. SGCC is known for their cosplay competitions, where you can win prizes worth up to $3,000.
