Some of us fancy a good jog every now and then, but for others, the memories of staggering through our 2.4km run still haunt us to this very day. We can’t help but shudder whenever someone so much as whispers the word “run”, even if it’s about the fun runs we see splashed all over our Instagram feeds.

We’ll let you in on a little secret – on 22nd August 2019, adidas will be hosting the The Night Mile – Pulseboost HD, a night run at 7PM-9PM that even the most fitness-wary person would enjoy. Expect some group work and scavenger hunts that will make this a not-so-typical run experience.

More information will be revealed closer to the date, but in the meantime, here are some tidbits to keep you on your toes:

Run to find ‘em all at the Scavenger Hunt-style run

A run is usually a solo experience but not this one. In groups of 8-10 people, you’ll set off on a secret 1.6KM route around Kallang Riverside to hunt down hidden clues that you will attempt to put together at the end.

What’s a run without some competition to spike that adrenaline further? The first group to successfully complete the race will win a pair of Pulseboost running shoes and a limited edition 3M reflective adidas Runners Singapore t-shirt each.

Between runners’ knee and Achilles pain, runners might be familiar with the problems stemming from shoes with flimsy support. You’ll have none of that when you take the Pulseboost HD out for a jog, because the all-new Boost HD it’ll literally give you a stability boost that keeps your feet supported, all while boasting top-tier cushioning and response that’ll make you feel like you’re running on a cloud.

All-in-all, it’s a shoe you’d want to keep on you as you pound your way through the bustling city on high-tempo runs like this one.

Chill out post-run at Camp Kilo with food and drinks

The post-run hunger can be a pain in the gut, but don’t worry – there’ll be a makan session over at Camp Kilo Charcoal Club after darting around during the race. Not only are the refreshments completely FOC, you’ll also get to mingle with your fellow runners for a chill hangout sesh.
