Don Don Donki & Other Stores At HarbourFront Centre Are Having Clearance Sales Before The Mall Shuts

HarbourFront Centre closing-down sales

Unless this has somehow slipped past you, you’ll already know that HarbourFront Centre, once Singapore’s World Trade Centre, will be closing down on 27th July 2026. Even before the official closing date was announced, we made a trip down previously for a last look at what you can still do at HarbourFront Centre before the mall eventually shuts its doors for good.

And with the final stretch approaching, we visited again for a closer look at the stores that have rolled out closing-down sales. If you’re planning to drop by, head down soon for one final walk around the mall, and while you’re at it, do a bit of shopping too.

HarbourFront Centre in its final days

HarbourFront Centre ferry terminal

When we visited on a Tuesday evening around 5pm, the mall was still surprisingly lively, filled with travellers wheeling luggage through the corridors, either heading off on ferries or just returning from a trip.

The atrium is the first thing you’ll see after coming up the escalators connected to HarbourFront MRT Station.

Despite its impending closure, there wasn’t really a sombre atmosphere. We saw shoppers browsing the Watsons atrium sale, while some stores had already started clearing out their stock, and others had put up bold banners announcing moving-out sales.

The eateries and restaurants were also fairly packed, which isn’t too surprising – food spots tend to draw a steady crowd.

But we could tell some visitors were there for more than just errands. A few were simply wandering around, popping into shops they probably wouldn’t normally step into, almost like taking in the mall one last time. And for a weekday, the crowd level was honestly quite unexpected.

Is every store running clearance sales?

Nope, not every store at HarbourFront Centre was running promotions when we visited, though this may change as the closing date draws closer.

We did spot several outlets with banners up and in-store signs highlighting ongoing sales, and also checked in with a few of them to ask how long the promotions would last. Most couldn’t give a firm end date, with many saying it would likely run until the mall’s final day on 27th July, while others noted it would continue until the day before closing or while stocks last.

Which stores are running closing-down sales?

We’ll leave it to you to explore the mall and show some support to the remaining stores, but here are a few highlights worth keeping an eye out for.

Don Don Donki

Our beloved Japanese discount chain, Don Don Donki, is running a closing-down sale until 19th July. Out of all the stores on this list, this one is shutting down the earliest, so you’ll want to head down sooner rather than later.

When we were there, we already spotted some empty shelves, so stock definitely isn’t sitting around for long.

Look out for price tags marked with “slashed prices” if you’re hunting for the best deals. For example, the GODZILLA Junmai Daiginjo Sake 720ml was going for $39.90 (U.P. $59.90), while a cute Chiikawa Square Pouch was priced at $15.90 (U.P. $23.90).

We even spotted school bags going for as low as $15. The sale runs until 26th July, so there’s still a bit of time to swing by.

The storefront is hard to miss, with “closing down” and “everything must go” banners plastered across the entrance, so you can expect some pretty decent deals inside.

There aren’t any obvious promotion banners or posters at the storefront, but step inside The Cocoa Trees, and you’ll find a chocolate and sweets haven waiting for you.

Remember to take a closer look at the price tags – some items are marked with “super deals” or “clearance”, which are easy to miss if you’re not paying attention.

We spotted deals going as low as 2 for $9, and when we checked with a staff member, we were told that the promotions are while stocks last.

Visit HarbourFront Centre before it closes

While it’s sad to see HarbourFront Centre heading for redevelopment, there’s still time to drop by and show some support to the stores that have called this place home for years.

Who knows, they might even make a return when the new mixed-use development eventually opens its doors. But until then, don’t wait for that future visit – head down while you still can.
