There are plenty of nature and hiking trails in Singapore, but tucked away along Saraca Stream at the Singapore Botanic Gardens isn’t just another scenic walking path – it’s Asia’s 1st certified Nature Immersion Trail.
It has been officially certified by the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy in the USA, and is designed to gently guide you into a more mindful way of experiencing nature, without rushing you through it.
An inclusive 150 m-long trail that encourages you to engage your senses

At just 150m long, the Nature Immersion Trail proves you don’t need a long hike to feel refreshed by the end of it.
This short but thoughtfully curated route winds through lush greenery, encouraging you to engage with natural light filtering through the trees, the soft rustle of leaves, and any other details we usually miss when we’re rushing through a walk.
It’s also designed to be inclusive and accessible, with wheelchair-friendly paths so more people can take part in the experience at their own pace and comfort level.
Forest bathing prompts along the way

Along the trail, you’ll also notice simple but thoughtful prompts for you to slow down and just be one with nature. From taking a few deep breaths to noticing different forms and textures, forest bathing doesn’t have to be complicated.
Sometimes, it’s as easy as standing still for a moment longer than usual, or actually paying attention to the sounds you’d normally tune out.
