Every year, Orchard Road hosts a giant Christmas light-up event called Christmas on A Great Street. As you do your shopping this festive season, you can also explore other activities along the entire stretch, like carnivals, faux snow showers, and twinkly lights everywhere you turn.
This year, there are even special SG60 displays featuring Singaporean icons and landmarks, such as the dragon playground and Merli the Merlion.
Another must-see is definitely the 3D projection outside of the Hilton hotel, featuring Merli in a Santa costume venturing through a snowy wonderland.

This 6m-tall iridescent Christmas tree is a part of the Upon Iridescent Wings showcase at Wisma Atria in collaboration with Barbie – yes, that Barbie. The tree itself is built from white baubles and adorned with mechanical butterfly wings, then crowned with an elegant crown in place of a classic star.
Other than posing with the gorgeous tree, there is also a Barbie wings-making workshop ($10/pax) where you’ll get to craft angel wings out of recyclable materials for your own brand-new Barbie doll. It runs every Saturday until 20th December 2025, so you still have time to head down.
There is also the Wings of Christmas exhibition at the Level 1 Atrium, where 70 Barbie dolls dressed in sustainable couture are displayed. These dolls are up for auction in support of HCSA SPIN, a charity for single parents and solo caregivers, through Community Chest Singapore.

This is definitely one of the more underrated picks on everyone’s list of Christmas light-ups, but Forum The Shopping Mall also has a stand-out Christmas display up this year.
Although their tree is relatively simple, the 2 majestic golden reindeer at its base really make it stand out. It’s a great spot to snap photos if you want to avoid crowds at the bigger, more popular malls nearby.
