Matcha Rave by Exposure Therapy
If you can’t stop raving about matcha like the rest of us, it’s time to bring that energy to the dance floor at the upcoming Matcha Rave by Exposure Therapy, happening on 12th July 2025.
You heard right – there’s going to be a whole party dedicated to our favourite green tea drink, and unlike your typical rager, it sounds like it’s gonna be 100% wholesome vibes. Here’s what we know so far.
What is a matcha rave?

The words “matcha” and “rave” aren’t usually strung together in a sentence, so what exactly is a matcha rave?
As it turns out, matcha raves aren’t a new concept. There have been several such parties conducted all over the world, from Bali to Vienna, but the concept is relatively new in SG. In fact, Exposure Therapy, the organiser for July’s matcha rave, claims to be the first to bring it to town.
So, what happens at such a rager? As you might’ve guessed, a matcha rave is pretty much a matcha-centred party – think DJs, pulsating beats, and a lit dance floor; but swap out alcohol for gallons of matcha instead. In other words, it’s almost like a “healthy” version of clubbing, perfect for those of us trying to enter our clean gal era.

If your main gripe about partying is having to fork out exorbitant taxi fares to get home past midnight, you’ll be happy to hear that Matcha Rave by Exposure Therapy ends at 8pm, so you’ll have more than enough time to catch the last train home.
In fact, the party starts at 4pm, so you won’t have to wait till sundown to bust out your best moves. And, if you want to leave for a hearty dinner once the sun sets, you’ll be able to do so as well.
Picture this, but with matcha instead.
To make things even more wholesome, Matcha Rave will be an entirely alcohol-free event. This means that no booze will be sold or permitted at the venue – instead, attendees will be sober-dancing to party anthems, with a cup of matcha in hand.
As for the DJs who’ll be spinning at the rave, party-goers can look forward to sets by DJ Shahan, Eden, and SWTLKR.
How much are tickets to Matcha Rave by Exposure Therapy?
Details on the event venue haven’t been announced yet, but tickets are already being sold via tessera at $15/pax, inclusive of a premium matcha. Early bird tix – which went for $13 – have already been sold out, so we’d recommend booking yours ASAP if you’re keen on attending.
