Luckily, we’ve found a therapeutic alternative for you that won’t break the bank. Head to the Open House at the Institute Of Mental Health on 20th May for a series of music and art workshops, a flea market, and behind-the-scenes tours of the 95-year-old psychiatric hospital.

If you’re feeling a little burnt out with work deadlines and life obligations, this one’s for you.

The open house will be happening on 20th May from 9am-3pm, so you’ll be able to beat the stress by participating in a series of mindfulness activities to boost your mood.

There’ll be clay workshops, watercolour painting sessions, music therapies, gardening activities – the list goes on. Each session runs for an hour and is suitable for both adults and children aged 16 and above. And the best part is, these workshops are all free.

There’ll also be a car boot bazaar where you’ll be able to find everything from handmade accessories and essential oil to clothing and household items. The main modes of payment are cash and apps, so make sure to bring them along.
