Corgis are seen as funny, stocky dogs who have wiggly butts, so really whatever they do is funny. Cartier the Corgi, though, is one mischievous and cunning pup. On 18th January 2021, the dramatic doggo faked his own death using Hale’s Blue Boy red sweetened drink and a knife.

The story goes that the owners of Bla Bla-boo Premium Dog Cafe in Ayutthaya released the Kraken to do his business and to enjoy his daily zoomies, after which Cartier usually returns to his bedroom. However, the owners couldn’t find him in his usual spot and were worried about his whereabouts, then deciding to do a sweep of the entire space.

Little did they expect that they would find their precious corgi the victim of a brutal crime. They walked into the kitchen where Cartier laid motionless, covered in what seemed like blood. There was even a “bloody” knife next to him that suggested foul play.

“Murdered” in cold sweetener

Though initially in a state of panic, the owners noticed a bottle of Hale’s Blue Boy red syrup next to the victim”, and deduced that he had and rolled in it.

Netizens also thought the trickster was murdered and were very pleased to see that he – and his short legs – was all okay.
