There is a good reason why Lao Ban Tau Huay is located at Old Airport Road, a place which is known to have many popular food stalls. Other Soya Beancurd I have tried are unlike Lao Ban--the beancurd itself is plain and bland but the syrup is overly sweet.
However, Lao Ban seems to rise above all. The texture is smooth and you can easily slurp it up. The beancurd itself is sweet already and not overly sweet either. Thankfully, the syrup has the same level of sweetness so that you need not worry of having a sweetness overload. I find it very hard to just stop at one serving! However, the queue may put off some despite the beancurd's affordability.
