Burger King’s Zom-B Burger Has Been Resurrected From 2015 For Black Pepper Lovers

Back to Burger King Black

Halloween is just around the corner – and with hyped-up festivities happening all over the island, it’s hard not to get sucked into the scare spirit. Whilst you’re out trick-or-treating or tending to frightful texts from your girlfriend, it’s always good to get into the festive mood with the appropriate nosh.

But you can ditch the saccharinely sweet candy for something a little more flavoursome and far more spook-tacular. Put your spook-mask on and get ready to be introduced to Burger King’s Zom-B Burger, the newest addition to our favourite burger eatery’s seasonal menu.

This year’s Black Burger has been resurrected from the dead and is back with a vengeance after a sell-out hit from last year’s Bamboo Charcoal selection. So you can prepare for a bun with more punch and a unique Black Pepper twist.

Big, Black, and Beautiful

We’ve seen the Japanese debut their squid-ink version of it, while the BBQ-loving Americans had their A1 sauce black bun, but now you can prepare for a piquant local black pepper flavour right in this little red dot. So do not be fooled for this is no typical cafe charcoal-infused bun.

Instead, Burger King has baked every bun with black pepper bits for that extra zing when you bite into it. The flavour isn’t too overpowering and makes for the perfect combination with the pepper sauce at the core of the burger.

Besides the zhnged bun, each burger consists of crisp batavia lettuce, sweet tomato slices, choice of patty – chicken or beef whopper – and slivers of turkey bacon to top it all off. Note that a whopper beef patty is used for the bun which makes it about 45% bigger than the usual.

Our inner foodies would also be pleased to know that all of Burger King’s meat patties are flame-grilled to perfection in their signature broiler for maximum flavour.

But what really ties the bun together is the generous lick of punchy black pepper sauce. Think about the oozy black pepper steak sauce at your local meat joint, take the intensity of that flavour up a notch and you have Burger King’s glorious sauce.

Not only does this kicker of a sauce greatly complement the burger, it also adds a fiery heat to your already-blissed taste buds. So for those with sensitive taste buds with an aversion to spice, take caution before you indulge in these intense flavours.

If you opt for the Zom-B set meal, you can expect a hearty and full spread. Choose from either fresh hot thick-cut fries or Burger King’s crowd fave, onion rings. Top that off with a refreshing, cold SJORA Mango Peach and you’re pretty much set to conquer life’s greatest scares on a happy tummy.

Don’t forget that every set meal comes with a complimentary Halloween-themed crown for the Burger King or Queen in you. Modelled after a complex wreath of skulls, feel like zombie royalty as you devour a meal fit for a king. But do remember to ask the staff for this addition to your meal and you will receive.

A spooktacular Burger King giveaway

This isn’t a trick but boy are you in for a big treat. Simply like and share this article on Facebook and like Burger King’s Facebook Page for a chance to win one of the ten $50 vouchers available. It’s really that simple. In addition to noshing on this scarily good burger, take the time to try out classic favourites such as their famous Whoppers.

So put that scare face on, and get your appetite ready for this year’s biggest Halloween hit.
