Sentosa Is Having A Wellness Festival With Free Workouts & DIY Workshops For Wholesome Detoxing

Zentosa LiveWELL Festival 2023 at Sentosa

It’s 2023 – your mental and physical health should already be your top priority. If it isn’t, let this be a reminder to start your wellness journey. For lost birdies who aren’t sure where to start, you’ll be thrilled to know that the Zentosa LiveWELL Festival is back at Sentosa from now till 9th July 2023

With an array of fun activities ranging from barre and yoga classes to candle-making and tufting workshops, this event will help kickstart your healthy journey. Here’s what you can expect:

Workout classes – Includes yoga, spin & “piloxing”

It’s all about the ebb and flow of your body here. Channel your inner zen and join the various yoga classes available. Depending on your health goals, you can join sessions that focus on flexibility, breathwork, and strength and conditioning. Those dropping by after work can also join the night yoga session where glowing lights are incorporated into the workout.

Spin classes are all the rage, we know. If you’re hesitant to commit to a full 10-class package, consider joining in the spin sessions at the festival. You’ll be vibing to groovy music while furiously cycling on an exercise bike, with the beach and sea as your backdrop.

Fans of martial arts can sign up for the muay thai class and learn the varying forms of self-defense moves. On a similar note, the festival also has silent kickboxing classes – think silent disco but with punches and kicks. Don’t worry, the instructor’s voice will be guiding you through the wireless headphones so you won’t miss a thing.

Aside from those heart-pumping activities, there are also barre classes that tone and sculpt your muscles, and aerial hoops which work on your body’s range of motion that feature less vigorous movements. A must-try is also “piloxing” which combines pilates, boxing, and dancing together – creating a perfect cardio workout.

DIY arts & craft – Tufting, candles & BearBrick paint pouring

Once you’re done working up a sweat, it’s time to cool off and get creative. For those who claim they’re no Picasso, then the sand art workshop is the class for you. No artsy skills are needed – simply combine the different colours of sand to create a unique pattern. You can also try your hand at designing your own BearBrick keychain by pouring acrylic paint on the bear.

Candle lovers can experience making a candle from scratch – choose your preferred scent, wax colour, and embellishments and you’ll have your very own customised candle. If your hands are still itching to create something, take part in the tufting class where you’ll create a beach-inspired coaster with yarn.
