The largest youth festival on our Little Red Dot, YOUTHˣ is back for its 2019 edition happening 3rd – 4th August at Singapore Sports Hub.
This year’s agenda features CrossFit challenges and yoga sessions, gaming contests and a stellar lineup of local performances and art showcases. A good mix of highlights to keep you active and on your feet while indulging in good vibes for an absolute blast of a weekend!

The highly-anticipated SHINE LIVE is back with performances from some of the brightest and most promising bands and artists in Singapore.
Groove along to the tunes of local household names as well as the hottest rising stars from 7PM-10.30PM on 3rd August and 6.30PM-10.30PM on 4th August at the main YOUTHˣ stage at OCBC Square.
We’re stoked to be able to witness the melodious crooning of Sam Rui, Gentlebones, Narelle and Sezairi plus the hard-hitting beats and clever rap verses courtesy of ShiGGa Shay, Axel Brizzy, THELIONCITYBOY and Yung Raja & Fariz Jabba.
M1LDL1FE – formerly known as Take Two – will also be there, a talented homegrown quartet known for their super catchy electronic-dance bops.
The main stage acts also include alumni from the Noise Music Mentorship by the National Arts Council. Make sure not to miss the prelude to the main stage performance either, with Noise Urban Sounds serving up some earworm warm-ups. Catch 10vacations, Viceboy and Krysta Joy from 5PM to 7PM.

Held at the Singapore Indoor Stadium for the very first time, players will also be battling it out on global cult favourites like Pokemon Go!, Clash Royale and Mobile Legends.

Fans of the quirky and addictive card game The Singaporean Dream – created by SGAG and featuring hilariously relatable characters such as Ah Beng, Influencer, NSF and CBD Office Lady – will be delighted to know that there’ll be a live tournament, hosted by none other than the folks of SGAG.
The only altruistic festival in Singapore, Music For A Cause is a one-of-a-kind music festival that harnesses music to encourage volunteerism and giving back to the society.
Organised by Love Action Project, the highlights of the festival include a stellar line-up of 13 local bands and artists, along with a collective of F&B vendors, entrepreneurs, organisations and sponsors coming together to drum up awareness for 16 featured social causes.
Catch performances by 53A, Jack & Rai, Joanna Dong, Charlie Lim and loads more at the Main YOUTHˣ Festival Village.
Participating social causes this year include Alzheimer’s Disease Association (ADA), Babes, Our Singapore Reefs, Ground-Up Initiative and Noah’s Ark Cares, just to name a few.
Pause For A Cause – Singapore’s first cosplay volunteer group dedicated to making dreams come true with cosplay – will be at the festival as well to interact and educate visitors through the art of cosplay.
There’ll also be a CrossFit Challenge from 12.30PM-4.30PM on 3rd August and a Yoga for a Cause session from 2.30PM-4.30PM on 4th August, a collaboration between The Breathe Movement and Eat Train Love. Nothing like getting your heart pumping and blood flowing before a rousing show takes the stage!

Sustain your energy levels throughout the day by indulging in some Instagrammable nosh. Vendors on-site include Fish Sh-nack, Black Boys Cubanos & Cantina, Gula Gula and lots more.
Amidst the good food, great music and rockin’ vibes, GetActive!SG is also upping the ante and getting festival-goers on their feet for various sports activities throughout the weekend.
Show off your athleticism by partaking in your forte or discovering a new active pastime. As homage to Singapore’s Bicentennial Year, there’ll be a Stadium Run, Round Island Bike Adventure, Dragon Boating, Badminton and Fencing competitions.
No better way to work those muscles while channelling national pride!
There’ll also be a huge inflatable obstacle course that’s open to all age groups, so kids and the young-at-heart alike can bounce to their heart’s content.
Pro-tip: have your cameras at the ready for Noise Urban Arts Zone. Highlights include various forms of street art forms such as yarn-bombing, wheat pasting, aerosol spray work and a digital gallery where art and technology collide for an innovative visual experience.
On top of that, there’ll also be roving dance and percussion performances as well as interactive installations next to the Singapore Sports Hub Arena Park from noon onwards.

This weekend-long shindig is the perfect opportunity for youths of all backgrounds to engage in activities which celebrate their existing passions, while paving the way for new interests to be discovered and new connections to be forged.
Other highlights not to be missed at YOUTHx include the Super24 Dance Competition, a showdown between dancers from Secondary and Tertiary sectors, as well as local and ASEAN dance crews to be crowned best of the best. If you’re feeling inspired after watching the finals, make sure to sign up for the dance workshops to work your way towards king/queen of the dancefloor.
There’ll also be an Open Mic session by Young Change Makers (YCM) on efforts to make a difference to the community, as well as a “Dance ● Music ● Crafts ● F&B – Youth Learning Marketplace” offered by People’s Association, which allows attendees to experience popular courses in craftwork, music & dance and even Instagrammable food.
