Throw away your Cinderella glass slippers and get ready to stay out till late this pre-Christmas season. To usher in the festival of giving, VivoCity will be open till 2am on Friday, 21 December.
If you’ve been too busy adulting and haven’t had time to shop for presents, now’s your chance to go for a last minute shopping trip. Just in time for your yearly reprisal as Santa Claus!
Here are the exciting activities you can look forward to during VivoCity’s Late Night Shopping extravaganza.
Here’s a one-of-a-kind Christmas experience – midnight shopping mall frenzy! Till 2am, you’re given free reign to more than 100 retail and F&B outlets open for business in VivoCity.
Shopaholics can pack the night with retail therapy sessions by the hour – ZARA, H&M, Sephora, and Adidas will all be beckoning you into their stores with attractive deals and promos for the season. Stay tuned to @vivocitysingapore for daily updates on the deals offered or click here for the full list of participating stores.
*Valid for items in the Sephora Collection Brand, from 10pm on 21 Dec.
With stores open past midnight, you can take your time browsing the stores from one end of the mall to the other.
When your friends ask to go out for a late night meal together, places that come to mind include everywhere from Swee Choon dim sum eatery to Chomp Chomp hawker centre. Everywhere but a mall ‘cos they usually have a closing time akin to our 8 year old cousin’s 10pm curfew.
But this Friday, VivoCity’s going to give you and your kakis a supper to remember. Till 2am, you can hop over to the mall for a belly-bulging feast at restaurants like Brotzeit and TCC – The Connoisseur Concerto.
Frolicking in fours, fives, or more? Steamboat restaurant Beauty in The Pot will be open for business to complete your late night shopping affair. Plump up your skin with the restaurant’s signature Beauty Collagen Broth ($28 for single pot) and help yourself to delicious sides like Homemade Fish Tofu ($1.80 per piece) which are adorably shaped like koi fish.
For dessert, pop by Ben & Jerry’s to try their limited Christmas edition Cone-Deer (1 scoop $9.90, 2 scoops $13.90).
From 8pm onwards, VivoCity will be taken over by Santa, roving stiltwalkers, jugglers, and a whole bunch of entertainment acts to liven up the atmosphere.
Hear the angels sing during the 30-minute choir performances happening at 1-hour intervals between 8pm and 10.30pm.
At 9.30pm and 12.30am, a juggler will be roving about the mall to put a smile or a chuckle on your face with their quirky juggling acts. Stiltwalkers dressed in elaborate costumes will be towering over you from 11pm to 12am.
There’s even free cotton candy from 8pm to 10pm – a sweet treat for shoppers taking on the Late Night Shopping event.
What’s more – shoppers can glide gracefully around the outdoor skating rink on level 1 all the way till 1am. To sweeten the night, spend $80 from 8pm to 12.30am in the mall to get free entry into the rink for some late night skating fun!
Read more about the VivoCity’s outdoor rink here, and get your tickets from vivoskating.peatix.com.
*Limited to a max. of 2 combined same-day receipts for the first 500 shoppers. Other terms and conditions apply.
The Sky Park at level 3 will also be lit up with a massive 107ft Christmas Tree, along with a beautiful horse carriage and enchanting light display that looks like it was plucked right out of a fairytale book. Beautify your IG with photos of yourself at these lovely Christmas set pieces.
VivoCity’s Late Night Shopping extravaganza will only take place on 21 December 2018, so mark your calendars and chope your friends for that day – and night.
You won’t have to worry about chalking up hefty cab fares on the way home either. VivoCity will be giving away $10 Mapletree vouchers from 8pm and $10 Grab promo codes from 10pm for the first 200 shoppers who spend a minimum of $250 within 3 same day receipts. It’s the perfect excuse to go ham on your purchases! *wink*
