Universal Studios Singapore Turns Into A Dance Party On NYE – Some Rides Are Open All Night Long!

A Pop-tastic countdown at Universal Studios Singapore™

Adapted from @lilypsn

2017 is right around the corner, and that means trying to plan the most epic countdown party. And if you’re like me and your idea of a New Year’s Eve party is staying at home in your pyjamas and watching fireworks on television – it’s time for a change.

Thankfully, Universal Studios Singapore is hosting its New Year’s Eve countdown party, Dance in the Park: A Pop-tastic Countdown to 2017. With a whole night of fun ready for you to enjoy – party planning just got a lot easier. So get some new clothes for that perfect #newyearnewme OOTD shot, put on those dance shoes and party the night away!

The event will be held on 31 Dec 2016 from 9pm, and here’s why it may be your most happening countdown yet:

Pump it up with Ultimate Katy Perry, DJ Tinc and star emcees

KatyCats, time to make 2017 your year. Sing along to your favourite hits with Ultimate Katy Perry, the UK’s number one tribute to Katy Perry. I mean, what better song to sing on New Year’s Eve than Firework

Once you’re done channeling your inner pop star, get vibing to electro and progressive house beats with DJ Tinc. Known for her crowd-pleasing tracks and larger than life stage presence, get ready to headbang to sick tunes and dance your night away!

Emcees Jamie Yeo and Jonny Lee will also be keeping you hyped all night.

Dazzle yourself silly – LED street acts, multimedia shows and more

There’s no better way to get into a celebratory mood than with a spectacular light show. And it’s not just about fireworks; I’m talking LED street performances like LED Poi and Video Mapping. Dazzle yourselves with the gorgeous bright lights, and take some selfies with the Party Stilt Walkers while you’re at it!

Of course, we can’t forget the pyrotechnics. Make sure you’re camera ready – their Fireworks Spectacular will start 2017 off with a big, beautiful bang.

Go cray on rides all night long

There’s only one thing that will complete a trip to Universal Studios Singapore: the rides.

Don’t miss out on the fun; selected rides and attractions will be open till the park closes at 1.30 am. So, if you’ve ever wanted to spend an entire day having fun at a theme park – your time has finally come*.
