Think of New Year’s Eve celebrations at Marina Bay and fireworks come to mind. But what if you can combine your passion for go-karting in Singapore with the festivities?
From 14th-31st December 2023, a pop-up go-karting circuit will take over Bayfront Event Space. If the name rings a bell, that’s because it’s located in the same space as Ice Magic. So if you’re looking to fast track into the New Year, read on to find out more.

Compared to the 750m-long track at Singapore Expo and the 960m-long one at Kranji, the circuit at Bayfront Event Space is smaller. But we’re not complaining, because it makes up for that with gorgeous views of the Marina Bay skyline.

There are 2 levels to choose from: Novice carts that can go at 30km/h or Advance carts that see drivers zooming up to 50km/h. However, you’ll need a valid driving or motorcycle license for the latter. Foreign licenses are also accepted, so you can jio your friends from overseas who are visiting this December.
Do also note that all riders will also have to be a minimum height of 1.4m and must wear covered shoes. Don’t worry about messing up your hair, as hair nets and helmets will be provided by KF1.
Tickets start from $35/pax for a Novice single rides and $45/pax for a Advanced single ride. Each session lasts 10 minutes, but if that’s not enough, feel free to get the Novice combo ($84/pax) or Advanced combo ($90/pax), which entitles each person to 3 x 10-minute sessions. You can book tickets on the KF1 Karting website or directly at the ticketing counter.
With every ride before 5pm from Mondays to Thursdays, enjoy 10% off F&B at TurboCharged, perfect for a post-race bite. And if outdoor go-karting isn’t your thing, there’s always HyperDrive at Sentosa, Singapore’s biggest indoor go-karting facility.
