It’s in our blood as Singaporeans to be constantly on the prowl for promotions to save ourselves a pretty penny. Moreover, we’re nearing the Season of Giving, so taking advantage of savings opportunities is one way of ensuring you don’t break the bank this year-end.

Well, for a delightful present that you can use well after Christmas has come and gone, look no further than the Trust Cashback credit card. Like its name suggests, you’ll be able to rack up cashback rewards along with other benefits like exclusive partner deals and sure-win scratch cards. Here’s all you need to know about the card, and the perks that come with it.

Earn up to 15% cashback on your preferred category of spending

For starters, the Trust Cashback credit card definitely lives up to its name, as it’s got one of the best cashback rates as far as credit cards go in the country. You’ll be able to enjoy a whopping 15% cashback every quarter on your chosen category that’s capped at $250, when you make a minimum of $2,000 monthly eligible spend over 3 consecutive months.

These include categories such as dining, shopping, travel, wellness, transport, and entertainment. You can also keep tabs on the achievement of your minimum spend via the real-time spend tracker on the bank’s nifty Trust App (App Store | Google Play). Even if you’re unable to hit the $2,000 spending milestone, there are other feasible minimum monthly expenditures to aim for.

Hit a monthly minimum eligible spend of $1,000 for 3 months and you’ll receive a cashback of 10%, capped at $100, while those who spend at least $500 monthly can walk away with a 5% cashback, capped at $30.

As an added cherry on top, there’s also an unlimited 1.5% instant cashback on your eligible spend outside your preferred category. This means that part of the expenditure that you’re accumulating to hit your minimum monthly spend also gets unlimited cashback.

Do note that the 1.5% cashback rate is for new Trust customers only, and will run from now till 31st December 2024. The subsequent cashback rate will be set at 1% from 1st January 2025, and existing Trust customers can still enjoy the 1% cashback rate.

Much like Trust Bank’s Trust Link card, the Trust Cashback credit card has no annual or cash advance fees. Also, cardholders can take advantage of its competitive exchange rates plus zero foreign exchange fees on their transactions overseas – making it a must-have travel buddy.
