Trend Micro is a global cybersecurity firm that safeguards all things digital, launching essentials from anti-virus programmes to data protection software. In a competition called “What’s Your Story?”, the organisation is challenging Singaporeans aged 7 to 17 years old to come up with a poster detailing how to stay safe on the Internet.
Entries are open from now till 30th September 2019, and the attractive prize pool includes iPads, a DJI Drone and shopping vouchers worth a hundred bucks for yourself plus up to $1,200 your school.
The Trend Micro poster competition will be open to 2 age categories, 7-12 years old and 13-17 years old. Let your creative juices flow by coming up with an original poster centred around the theme of staying safe on the internet.
The possibilities are limitless. You could sketch out a masterpiece from scratch, design something digitally or even tap into your wildest imagination and get crafty with a DIY project.
Upload your creation onto the Trend Micro “What’s Your Story?” website, where public voting will take place. Make sure to rally your friends and family for support as the entries with the highest number of views and “hearts” from the public will make it into the final round.
Thereafter, a panel of judges will determine the winners out of the finalists. On top of the individual prizes, school prizes will be awarded to the respective institutions attended by the Top 3 winners in each age category.
